whatever was called in live action on the field (in this case, touchdown), gets the benefit of the doubt. no clear, conclusive evidence on the replay = call stands

vicks hand went inside the pylon.. the ball went outside the pylon.. since the goal line extends infinitely he scored a touchdown. this is the rule, it was a very skillful play by vick yet very odd. you have to have seen it to understand, but the ball does not have to go over/in the pylon if a bodypart goes over/in the pylon before the player is ruled down

Dunno if this has been discussed, but wtf was up with the B&W pics with the players with the trophy? You could see the photographer 99.9% of the time reflected in the image. Edit anyone?

I just got bamboozled out of $1000.
My fantasy league is claiming that punt return TD by steve smith against seattle went only to the Defense / Special Teams, and not steve smith. This means minus 6 pts from my team, and I lose by 5 instead of winning by one.
Fucking WEAK!!!!!!!!

I don't know what the deal is with the calls... they were both close...
The pushoff was a pushoff... Should it have been called But technically it was pass interference, because it was a pushoff. Blatant interference (like where someone gets mugged), no, but it was still interference.
The Steelers touchdown was another close call, and could have gone either way... Refs are human, and can make mistakes... The ref actually hesitated before calling it a touchdown, so you knew he wasn't completely sure either, but in the replays it looked like the ball did cross the plane of the goal line, so there wasn't enough evidence to overturn the call.
Football is a game of inches, and sometimes a little bit of luck (and favorable calls) can make a difference... Maybe in this game it did, maybe it didn't... When humans are involved with making the calls, you can't guarrentee 100% accuracy...

Congrats to Pitt! Anybody who thinks their first touchdown was a touchdown is on crack. On the replay the ref comes from the sideline with his hand in the air spoting the ball short of the goal line and it wasn't until he saw the QB on the ground after his was down that he put his hands up. The replay showed it, but the ref didn't want to overturn the call. Hell even Matt Hassleback fumble should have been called down and if there was a way they would have given that to Pittsburgh to. How many penalies were called on Pittsburgh their first score 1 matbe. Even the second holding call in which Seattle had it first and goal was called back for a non hold. It should have been called offsides on Pittsburgh the guy was in the netuarl zone at the snap.

So that was a touchdown? They showed a replay. All numb nutts Al and Madden would say was "no need for a replay as he was clearly out of bounds."

I forgot about that, that was some bs right there... and totally easy to see on the replay, especially considering there is supposed to be a ref watching for that.

ROFL.. Seahawks still could've won without all you guys crying aboiut calls..
2 missed FG.. TONS of dropped passes 2 within 10 yd line.. Poor time management..

Yeah, it wasn't exactly Rams v. Titans, but if I were a Pitt fan, I wouldn't give a shit.

OK... It was all the refs fault..

The Seahawks made big mistakes. They also got raped on a few calls.
The Steelers played a boring game, made plenty o mistakes, and didn't get raped on calls.
Both teams suck if you ask me. "Champions"
