"centimeters" my ass.

The ball was his torso length from the goal line.

Easily 15-20 inches.

it was too close to reverse it... like i said the ref reversed like 23% of his calls the whole season... i don't think he was in but it was really close.. also if it was reversed and the steelers lost i believe that would be the argument for the steelers to say should have counted

what happened in the past is done and can't be reversed.

I don't think he was that stupid to not see him pull it across afterward.. All the ball does at any point is touch the goal line..

Thank you Seattle. Thank you for reassuring us that, no matter how great we think America is, Seattle is still a part of our union.

And thank you Pittsburgh, for putting the final nail in the coffin that is the American Dream.

Adieu.

According to the rules it would be considered a puch off.. If you extend your arm to push away it's considered a penalty..

I guess it all depends on the angle the ref is watching the replay from...but it was clear as day it was not in from the viewers perspective.

I do get what you are saying.

But....its a lot harder to get away with bad calls like that nowadays...specially when HD shows all clear as day.

ya i see what you're saying... the steelers would have kicked the field goal or gone for it on 4th and being that it would have been at the 1 inch line then they SHOULD have made it... so either way i think it doesn't matter.. it was a close call and it could have gone both ways for both teams/fans

and if the fucking Steelers would have kicked the damn field goal I would have wont the 2nd quarter pot of a whopping $20.

Either way, I enjoyed watching the game, and had no alegiance to either team. But the Steelers did play a hell of a 2nd half...their QB is a fucking hoss.

OK i think we can admit there were some questionable calls. But the game was not stolen. There was no blatent attempt at thievery like on the polamalu int against indy. Seattle had plenty of chances and couldnt capitalize.

There were shit calls on both sides...there always are...I didnt see anything to show there was any bias to the steelers.

Re-read the rules.... NFL.com is your friend. He didn't push off, rather the defender got burned. If he pushed off of the defender he would have went flying due to weight transfer. It was defenitely a BS call!!

Actions that constitute offensive pass interference include but are not limited to:

(a) Blocking downfield by an offensive player prior to the ball being touched.

(b) Initiating contact with a defender by shoving or pushing off thus creating a separation in an attempt to catch a pass.

(c) Driving through a defender who has established a position on the field.

Actions that do not constitute offensive pass interference include but are not limited to:

(a) Incidental contact by a receiver’s hands, arms, or body when both players are competing for the ball or neither player is looking for the ball.

(b) Inadvertent touching of feet when both players are playing the ball or neither player is playing the ball.

(c) Contact that would normally be considered pass interference, but the ball is clearly uncatchable by involved players.

you know all of these arguments would be null if jeremy stevens (and his magic shit talking before the game) would have caught his balls... he has 2-3 dropped passes that would have put seattle inside the 10-15. I also love how at the end he dropped the pass and porter was over him talking shit..

Yeah the NFL refs are not dumb like Wrestling refs, I stopped watching wrestling because it was so stupid.

I couldn't count how many times that a guy has this guy pinned, for like 10 seconds, but the dumb ass ref is preoccupied with something and doesn't see it then, someone comes in the ring and knocks the hell out of the guy that should have one the match, and leaves the ring, then the poor guy is knocked out, and then gets pinned himself and the ref some how sees that and the guy that should have one loses.

Its all lame now. I used to love it when Sting, Lex Luger, and the other guys were still wrestling

J. Stevens 3 catches for 25 yards 1 td (dropped 4-5 passes??)

porter only had 3 tackles but his team won.. stevens shouldn't have guaranteed the win....

Look at where the line is and where his elbow and the ball are touching the ground. It's more than a forearms length from the line!!

The fix is in for sure

Howabout the phantom holding call that cost us dearley. Even madden was talking about it, wondering what the ref was looking at. Just one of about 5 bad calls.
