They're at least a couple of years away, if not more.
A couple?

If they were in position to draft Reggie Bush, I would say that is a pretty accurate statement.

I think my point was that next year is not feasible. They made progress this year, but there's work to be done.

Reggie Bush ain't what they need. Offensive linemen and some decent freakin' cover guys in the secondary, very much what they need.

It's OK, though. Five SB wins in 15 years can carry a fan through the tough times

Contact was not made until he hit the ground...cause we all know he would have dropped the ball if contact came sooner.
it was spectacular because he finally decided to hang onto the ball and catch it!!

IMO This superbowl will always be tainted. Its kind of a shame. A team fights all years to get to the big stage, only to have the refs upstage the players. Ever since the game has ended, no one has really talked about the game, only how fucked up the officiating was. I hate to say it but desevently so. The refs made the big game an abomination. I could almost accept the bad calls if it happened to both teams, but it was only my team that was singled out. Its a crying shame. Pitt had 3 penalties, 2 false starts, & i can't remember what the 3rd was. More than likley it was insignificant.
