OOPS. Was that supposed to happen!??!?

They could try to trade few small pieces, but nothing like D. Howard type of mega trade.

I think Clippers are pretty much set for now.

With the exception of joining the Bulls, I don't think Howard will help any team to the promised land.

And even if he did join the Bulls, not sure if what Chicago gives up will make them contender-worthy. Because, if there is one team in the NBA that plays as a unit from top to bottom, it is the Bulls.

Seems that Monta Ellis is heading to Milwaukee along with Kwame Brown and Udoh for Andrew Bogut and Stephen Jackson

On a serious note, there were talks about that sending Bosh and i guess more for Howard. But it won't happen.

I don't see the Bulls making any big moves by the trade deadline. It could ruin team chemistry and that would be a mistake if you already got the best record in the NBA.

i thought Ellis was more injure prone than steph(well Monta has been in the league longer). I think they choose curry over ellis because of his youth. Ellis has been there for awhile now.

So Dallas finally pulled out another win. Unfortunately, so did Houston against Oklahoma, speaking of which, the coaching staff is catching some hell for letting Durant play those final 2 minutes after coming down & hitting his head on the court; might be a possible concussion tomorrow.

And how about the Lakers? That was a good game. Good comeback there to take it.

Wow, Howard is an @$$. While I've maintained for years that he was the ONE player I would build a team around, the way he's handling his future is awful.

He's now asking the Magic to keep him for the season and then roll the dice in free agency.

If his ultimate goal is to go to NJ (gotta ask again: WHY?!??) with that team losing NOTHING because well, he'll be a free agent, then this is a selfish request for a team that's given him everything to make him happy.

Um, I hope Orlando for their sake are not that retarded and honor his request.

even if he goes to the Nets they aint gonna go no where and for god sakes the Nets would have to give out lots of players just for him. If nets gets Howard they still ain't gonna get a Ring with him and Williams only

You're not quite getting my point, I think.

If the Magic do not trade Howard after his latest request, then NJ won't have to give up ANY assets (i.e. gut their team) to get him because Howard will join as a free agent.

Keep in mind that any trade with Orlando will have included the poison-pill deal of Turkoglu's. And NJ, if indeed they are in play, will have to dump a number of first round picks, Lopez, and likely Brooks to get Dwight (and Turkoglu).

Dwight wants to play with his fwend, Dwill. He's not really in it to win it all, IMO. Friendship is more important.

I hope the Magic do it too. Otherwise, its Shaq 2.0. At least the Lakers got Lamar and Caron Butler for Shaq. Caron turned into Pau Gasol (eventually) and Lamar got 6th man of the year and took one of the ugly Kardashians off our hands.

After following his saga all year, I have to honestly say that winning is not his primary objective.

While I can continue to mock LeBron for doing what he did, at least he did it in the name of winning by joining the best possible combination (well, arguable IMO as Rose would've been just as good with him) to win the Title in Miami. Howard? Motive seems completely different.

The Knicks record with Caramel back in the line-up says it all. And look at the Nuggets now.

I was joking, but he has had worse head cases or locker room cancers than carmelo. Getting him and LeSTAT to play defense, 'tis another story...

Maybe...I can see the triangle. Mike and Kobe made a living off of weakside triangle isolations. But those guys had plenty of skill and determination, not so sure about Melo....

However, I can't see him working for the Knicks owner though. Who knows, I think he's pretty happy fishing and boinking Jeannie Buss...but I do think this is a rumor that'll come up from time to time.

I also read Jerry Sloan...
