thats whats going to happen in the playoffs. its gonna sounds like this:
"we were so so close, Mike said we were winners" Remind you that those games were super close at the end. Btw if you really look at things, if rose were to leave, they would be another Cleveland.

Derrick Rose had some great dunks tonight in the 40 point slaughter against the Kings.

Everytime I watch these Carmelo-Amare Knicks...they remind me of the Heat. 2 players trying to score score score and everyone else just standing around. :shakehead

He's no MVP candidate. The people and analysts are all on glue...just like you.

12 games left for both the Lakers and the Spurs and Tim Duncan will be out at least 3 games maybe more because of his ankle sprain. It's very unlikely that the Lakers catch them but it is possible especially since Pop likes to rest his guys at least a couple of games before the playoffs and the Spurs only play one sub .500 team in their last 12.

D-Rose: 30 points with 10 assists in just 29 minutes...
But, he still sucks.

Agreed...I'd like to see them stay at 2nd, not burn themselves out to get to 1st. If any thing, I'd like to see them avoid Portland.

^^it was. Lakers had it in the first OT though, if Lamar Odom hadn't been such a complete imbecile fouling Channing Frye while shooting a 3.
The Suns played with a lot heart, but in all honesty, this was the Lakers game to lose. Nonetheless, it was fun to watch. Nash is a favorite player of mine, but the Lakers are my team so it was fun watching both...

@ the Rose...
If Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose scores at his season average of 24.9 points this weekend, the Japan earthquake and tsunami relief effort will be $50,000 richer.
Rose has joined other NBA notables Pau Gasol from the Los Angeles Lakers, LaMarcus Aldridge from the Portland Trail Blazers and Al Horford from the Atlanta Hawks in pledging to donate $1,000 for every point they score in this weekend's games.
Direct Relief International announced the initiative, which will provide medical care for those affected by the disaster. Direct Relief created the Japan Relief and Recovery Fund in partnership with the Japanese American Citizens League.
“When disaster strikes we are all on the same team,” Rose said in a statement. “Right now we’re all pulling for the people of Japan. Through the good work of Direct Relief International and other organizations in this country, we need to step up and help however we can.”

Nash and Hill are amazing to me and always great to watch. They school guys like half their age. Grant Hill played Kobe hard all night long. He's also played Blake Griffin amazingly well this year. I love watching some of these older guys since you know you probably only have a few years left to truly appreciate their game

Still no idea why the Celtics traded Perkins.
