Wade...well, at least he's got a ring. But, nothing to the calibre of Beef. However, in Rose...I smell some titles...
Maybe, just maybe...

As much as I make light of the Heat, the issue right now is that you have 3 "prime" type players who don't seem to be able to adequately play with each other...especially when the going gets tough.
Sure, they can blow out the varsity-type teams like Sacramento or whatever, but against the top tiers...they don't look that scary especially when the opposition has a good game plan and solid defense set up.
It's obviously a different sport but like in say, hockey...you need your muckers...the guys who will roll up their sleeves and tough it out. Teams that have the scorers and the "muckers" who play effectively together in a system is what wins. Heat have scoring...oodles of it with LeBron et al. But, as for the rest? Well...

Chicago ownership was quoted recently as saying he/they want 'at least 4' with Rose. Interesting....

^ I can see it possibly.
Rose is not a diva athlete...he is not selfish...he is not a LeChoker...I think he can do it.

Chicago has some things the Heat don't have. 1) Better coaching 2) Inside presence 3) Team unity (everyone plays their role) 4) Better bench 5) less arrogance and more willing to work for the win.

However I could see him getting a ring or two in the future.

^ Well, H...I truly believe Miami's title hopes lies with Wade. Not LeBron...
The guy needs to stop deferring to James. The sooner they can figure that out, the better for the team.

Wow....just wow at the Orlando-GSW game.
A 21 point comeback by Oaktown. Most combined 3s in an NBA game. 39 pts, 11 assists by Monta Ellis (really underrated IMO player). GSW with 60% from the 3 point line. Orlando had a great comeback earlier, and now it turns on them.

Bosh should be MVP.

Hard to get a handle on who the regular season mvp is. Finals mvp is more important though...

There are several that statistically qualify to be in the MVP race but I can't name one other than Derrick Rose this season that has the stats and has literally carried his team to where they are despite all the injuries they've had. Not Durant, Wade, James, Paul, Bryant, Howard or any other so its pretty clear to me. Plus Rose has defeated most of his MVP rivals this season.

IMO, the preponderance of big 3s, big 2s, big 4s, whatever combinations of players, dilutes the pool a bit, as the focus for that standard choices has turned towards consolidating talents to win championships. Despite this trend, Rose and the Bulls are not only standing out amongst those other candidates/teams, he has the winning record to show for it.
In short, best player on the team with the best record? Hard to argue with that....

^ I'm not impressed. The LeHeat should've won by 50+ points. It should be a prerequisite. They should do defensively what the Celtics did to the Bucks. The Spurs should've only tossed in 60 points or less against such a roster of future HoFers. LeMiniMe included. He's MVP.
