I don't know about that. After Stockton-Malone. He got Williams and Boozer. So there was hope in Utah.
I would say Boozer failed to lived up to his contract (and seems to like to switch teams.)
I guess it was just no fun being "average." With Boozer gone, I'm sure Williams wants to go too.

His wife died, he never changed his ways in an ever changing NBA. There were alot of reasons why I believe he should have retired or tried his schtick on another team, the least of which were personnel reasons.

Who's excited to see the Cav's break the all time losing streak record for any sports team? haha. Goes to show how great LeBron is. The Cav's has the best record last year with LeBron. Now they got the worst record this year without him.

Man, I was worried the clippers might lose, lol.
I predict they will lose Griffin in the near future, he wont be a Clipper for more then 2 years. With that talent, i'm sure a more wealthy team will buy him. Just like all the good players that left the Clippers for better money. lol

This reminded me of the coach's speech from Bull Durham:
Skip: What's our record, Larry?
Larry: Eight and sixteen.
Skip: Eight... and sixteen. How'd we ever win eight?
Larry: It's a miracle.
Skip: It's a miracle. This... is a simple game. You throw the ball. You hit the ball. You catch the ball.

It would be nuts if he's not in MVP contention at this point now.

Deal in Place with Nets for Carmelo Anthony...
From TSN...
The Carmelo Anthony saga is closer to the end than the beginning, but still has a ways to go before it's over.
The Bergen Record is reporting that the Nets and Nuggets have agreed to the framework of a deal that centres around Anthony heading to the New Jersey, along with Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams, Melvin Ely and Renaldo Balkman. In exchange, the Nuggets would receive Devin Harris, Derrick Favours, Troy Murphy, Ben Uzoh and four first-round draft picks.
However, the trade is still contingent on Anthony agreeing to the deal - primarily on Anthony signing a $65 million contract extension, as no team would be willing to give up their assets without the guarantee of keeping Anthony long term.
ESPN reported earlier Friday morning that Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov was headed to Los Angeles to meet face-to-face with Anthony during all-star weekend.
But later Friday, Anthony said "no meeting at all" was scheduled with the Nets.Speaking at a community service event in south Los Angeles, Anthony says a reported meeting with Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov is "news to me."
"If I was to meet with that guy (Prokhorov) to be honest I really don't know what I would say."
Among the selling points that the billionaire owner was expected to use to convince the 26-year-old star to head to New Jersey is the Nets' move to Brooklyn during the 2012-13 NBA season. Anthony was born in Brooklyn.
As well, with Anthony as the centrepiece of the team in New Jersey, as opposed to Amar'e Stoudemire's running mate in New York, the Nets would be a prime location to attract free agents - including point guards Deron Williams and Chris Paul, who will be part of the summer of 2012 free agency period.
The Knicks were reportedly to have also scheduled a meeting with Anthony. Since the summer, it's been widely speculated that New York is his preferred destination.
The rumour of Anthony ending up with the Knicks was strengthened after a story surfaced of a Chris Paul toast at his wedding in the summer of 2010.
A New York Post story in July reported that during Anthony's wedding, Paul predicted a future Knicks dream team. The story went on to say that Paul made the reference during a speech of a potential union of himself, Stoudemire and Anthony, saying, "We'll form our own Big 3."
