for Homer Bailey! Got to watch every pitch. He reminds me of Kyle Lohse...when their stuff is on they are unstoppable, but they can never do it consistently. He's still young though even though he's been around forever, so hopefully this is the turning point.And another
for Ryan Hanigan, one of the most underrated catchers in the league and one of my favorite all time Reds. He just goes out every night and does whatever he's asked.

Things are also interesting in the NL. Reds have to win and Nats lose to get the #1 seed. If we beat the Cards and (assuming the Dodgers win tonight) the Dodgers win, then they play a one game tie breaker to determine the second wild card spot. I think I have that right

Think of it this way, if they were to tie the Yanks, then have to play another game, if they were to lose that they'd still have to play the Wildcard playoff. They wouldnt have any days off since both elimination games would be today/tomorrow, then the ALDS starts Saturday. Obviously, thats worst case scenario.
I like the way Buck has managed his team. Reminds me a lot of Torre in the 90s.
