I don't know... those are 3 big field players (Price adds up to 2 ) for 1 big Pitcher. Maybe if it were for Lincecum and the Brewers added a prospect or 2. At least if they DID make the trade, the Brewers would not have to reshift the structure of the infield every time CC went over to cover first base; the weight of CC and Prince really messes up the balance of the infield

Thank-you, Javy Vazquez for proving Ozzie right that you choke in big-games.

It's all on Buerhle tomorrow!

The Brewers offense is still solid, even without Prince. They are losing CC and Sheets this offseason. They need pitching BAD.

Twips has a harder road than Chicago.
However, what drama!

Harhar...last time I checked, your Twips are still behind Chicago. All the ChiSox need is to take one game from your team. And even then, there is still Cleveland and possibly the OVERRATED varsity team called Detroit for the make-up game on the final day.

And I don't know what you're on, but I'd MUCH rather play the Royals at home than the Indians, so I don't know how you figure we have the harder road ahead...
Regardless, whoever wins this division will be first round losers come playoff time.

That's where I disagree. Unless Tampa loses 4 games to Boston in the standings this week, they will play the AL Central winner. Absolutely anything could happen with their first ever franchise playoff series.

Behind or not, you're playing in the dome where your team simply cannot win, and let's face, we have a history of taking your precious lead late in the season.

Here's hoping ChiSox win it today.

Wait? You mean Thome took at third strike that wasn't called? Then he scored? So the umpiring was actually fair? No, say it ain't so.

I would turn off the sound, but then I would miss the 42,000 screaming fans.

Although I was at the game, so I missed their commentary. I did not, however, miss the 42,000 in attendance.
...and Buerhle was squeezed my ass... There were PLENTY of times the Sox looked at perfectly good pitches only to be called balls. It was def. a two-way street.

Okay, one more game! Go ChiSox!

From the story I read, they say his arm will last longer since he uses so much of his legs to generate his power. I forget how long his pitching stride is (compared to his height) but it's ridiculous. He says he never ices his arm and it never hurts
But of course, we all know anything can happen with a pitcher's arm.

The Royals have shut down Greinke for the season, so he won't pitch against the Twins Sunday. Also, guess who would pitch for the Tigers vs. Chicago on Monday? Freddy Garcia.
#1075
With no experience whatsoever anything can happen.
Anyways, go Twins

Thank-you very much for choking, ChiSox.

And please, don't bother trying to convince me (or yourself for that matter) that the Sox will take back the lead. Clearly, they are no longer capable of that.

So, the sox better enjoy their paltry lead while they can... it'll be gone before they leave God's country.
