I can understand the frustration, but it's not our fault we get the media attention. The fans have nothing to do with that. I just go to the games, read the media guides, and watch the highlights. I/we don't care if it's -10° or 100° or if the team goes 0-162 or 162-0, I/we just try to bare with the team and hope it finally happens.

I can't change how things are. I don't understand why things are the way they are, I just live with it. You guy should just take it as is and realize you've won a WS, so enjoy it.

OT: I work at The Glen, live in Morton Grove, went to HS in Skokie. My gf lives in Glenview/went to GBS. I was born in Evanston and lived in Ravenswood for the early part of my life. My uncle and I would take a bus from our apartment to Wrigley on gamedays. If that's not "North side Cubs fan" material I don't know what is.

I've got a couple bad things to say about Harry Caray. He was a mean drunk who fooled around with Augie Busch's wife and was booted out of St. Louis as a result. He was also a bad announcer at the end, saved only by Steve Stone. Now Ed Farmer has slid into that role with White Sox radio (getting saved by Steve Stone).

Ron Santo is also a horrible announcer, saved by Pat Hughes.

Come on, Chicago, get with it. Some people are trying to understand what's going on down on the field.
Shaddap and enjoy the view from second place, okay?

I don't know if that was sarcasm or what not, but quite frankly I'm done arguing. I meant that as an example of who I was. I hope that was a poke at fun, not a poke at me.

Delgado just hit a Grand Salami against the Yankees. Probably the best thing he's done all year.

meh... mets had 14 hits and yankees had 12... it looked like batting practice out there for both teams. only difference is the yankees left a ton of guys on base. the score is pretty bad but its one of those games where i dont think the score really tells the story. both pitching staffs got pretty beat up.

Eric Patterson deserves the 8 ER today, that was pathetic. If it were not for him, I would believe that the game would've been a lot different. Take nothing away from the Sox though, they made the best of their chances and fully deserved the W.

yeah, what gives? he looked pathetic yesterday, but he's usually unhittable at home.

I always felt the Sox would win on Sunday. We should be looking at a 3-3 record for both teams. Nothing settled, everyone leaves even I guess. I still would've been happy with just one win out of three. It's funny, the series isn't even over yet and I already consider it a sweep.

As for the game today, I feel that the Cubs got unlucky in some areas, and outplayed in others. Thorton is SICK.

he was good today striking out the side (6th?) when he came in for relief. Cubs might have gotten unlucky but even the series at wrigley has some calls that could have gone either way that could have effected the outcome... guess thats just the game. I'm sure tomorrow will be a really good game too cuz I know the Cubs will be playing hard to avoid the sweep.
