My niece spent $390 a piece for playoff tickets. Tickets that would generally cost ~100 each in the regular season.

Hey, after this many years of missing the playoffs, any fan would pony up $$$ for a ticket.

And honestly, we should give the Leafs some slack...if you want hilarity in rebuilds, look no further than the Oilers.

Colorado made it fours years ago as well and then missed it the last three so I wouldn't say they have made it back yet.

Don't be an e-retard. We all know that under Rule 213412470953.2 of the NHL Count Rule Book, the Leafs will be reinstated in the playoffs after being ousted in the 1st round.

They have what is known as the Bettman Immunity Card. Wow, you sure you're a hockey fan or just some fair-weathered bozo like Jonesi...?

Anyone find it -worthy that in Philly's quest for a good goalie, they trade away this year's Vezina candidate and signed a "name-brand" quote-machine dud...?

In her defense, she does go to 3 or 4 games a year. But those tickets are generally free or purchased at face value since she works for one of the large sponsors of the team.

Only kidding ya Dom, I know playoffs in t-town are like the superbowl up there, just amazing that markups are already starting, though I shouldn't be surprised after seeing what cup final tickets were going for in 08 and 09

They definitely do need help on D for sure so I think it is the logical pick. However, MacKinnon is tempting as well.

That would be a bad pick IMO and pulling off an Oilers...The Avs are deep up front. It's their D that stinks.

Darryl Sutter changed all 4 forward lines for the Kings for Game 1.

Evil genius, or epic blunder?

My guess is he changed them up so that the Blues will have a hard time going back to video from last years playoffs to break down each line.

The Blues/Kings series will be a throwback to the 1980s-style rock 'em sock 'em hockey...

I'm guessing you'd get bruises just watching the games.
