Marchand is the WORST. Thornton and Lucic are pretty bad too. Lucic has made some questionable plays going back to his WHL days.
Semi-shot at Malkin...but, tell me if you know of anyone on THIS Boston team that does that with their hockey stick.

And dude...McSorley has not played in what, a decade? If you are basing your idea of Boston on when he was playing, we are completely on different orbits.

Lucic and Thornton are physical/tough players. They are not in the same class as the ones I listed. I think you have more a case of lingering hostility to Vancity's ouster in the Cup Finals against Boston. But, c'mon...the Canucks had only themselves to blame for blowing that series. I said it that year and I'll say it again: Vancouver had Boston. Then, Louuuu had to go yapping about pumping tires and Burrows had to go become a cannibal. If they kept those retarded things out, they would've probably won instead of galvanizing a Boston team.

Thanks tips. The reason I posted that was because that was the only Canucks related stick attack I could recall.

See above for the McSorley post.

Lucic and Thornton do IDENTICAL things as the Canucks players. And yeah, I agree with you there were some selfish things done/said by Canucks players but you can't seriously sit there and tell me the Bruins are a clean team. That's just in incomprehensible theory.

^ To be frank, I don't really find Boston to be a cheap/dirty team, dude...To me, they are like the Blues, a hard-nosed, physical team.

And while I dislike the Blues, it has more to do they are a rival than because they are a cheapshot/borderline-play type team. If anything, I'm sorry to say, the Canucks have the title for probably the most disliked NHL team?

But, that being said, I love the city of Vancouver. Got some great restaurants and great scenery.

Just don't like the hockey team.

Everyone says the Canucks are the most hated team but noone here has any clue why. I see how some could dislike they're play, but mainly I guess it's because all we hear about are the charities and stuff they're involved in so it's hard to see them in that way.

The B's farm team's in trouble, looks like Grabiteskis got some splainin' to do.

http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=6...d=nhl:topheads

Not that I'd condone biting but the way Pacioretty had his arm wrapped his Grabovski's face, Grabovski couldn't even talk without having tooth to forearm contact.

Mostly solid game. We are over 500 & no longer negative in the goal differential!

& Nash scored with 8.4 left!

He didn't clean up his play because of guilt for the people he injured, he cleaned up his play because the Shanahammer said he'd suspend him into oblivion if he kept it up and he wouldn't have a NHL job anymore.
That's cute that you're still bitter about Savard all these years later, but career ending, really? The guy had 6... yes 6 concussions. And Cooke hit him once, not 6 times... That was just the final straw for him. And you're way off about Shanban having anything to do with Cooke. Pens ownership (Lemieux) and the GM talked to Cooke and told him to clean up or get out, not Shanaban. Either way, Cooke barely touches anyone now, and lets up completely when he's in against the boards. His game is just soft now, but hey, it's what you want right

Your right, Savard was the only dirty hit he delivered.

Never said that, you ignored everything else I said as usual. How many careers has he ended? I know of 1, that's what I refered to, however the guy had a history of concusions. And I never said he wasn't a dirty player, just said that he cleaned up his act because Pens ownership wouldn't stand for it

My first thought was, what a pussy for biting. But then I saw the replay over an over and I could begin to understand why he did it. And then I heard from a few ex players who stated they would have and have done the same thing and placed the blame solely on Pacioretty. I'll go with what players have to say on this one and not fault Grabovsky for the bite.

It's funny how the Pens ownership suddenly cared when Shanahan came in. They knew what was going to happen, you can say it was the Pens decision but it was never made until Shanny forced their hand.

They had the talk with him before Shanahan was announced While your boy Campbell was still there helping his son's team get to the finals before having to bow out

The Avs played their first game last night after 5 days off. They came out and played like a different team the entire game compared to the rest of the season so far which was great. They deserved to win the game. However, they lost and it was caused by the ref in overtime. I have never seen anything like it. We also had another injury losing our top dman just minutes into the 3rd period.

^^ meh...blaming the ref for the loss?

You've never seen a clearing attempt or pass hit a ref's skate and cause a turn-over that leads to a goal?!?!

B's signed Jay Pandolfo to a two way deal today. He's gotta clear waivers but considering no other team was interested in signing him that may not be much of a hurdle.

I don't believe in jinxes in sports.

But, that being said, can your stupid Things just die? They lose Lidstrom and etc. and still won't freaking go away. WTF.
