Crawford looks good. If he can sustain it...maybe Chicago's got their goalie for the next while.
NHL's holiday roster freeze is in effect until Tuesday 28 Dec.

Considering I've watched this like 5 times, yes I heard Bylsma dropping F'bombs as well, but not once did I see him belittle his players
Do you really think he needs to while on a 12 game winning streak?

@ that face off Crosby took tonight. He's something else right now.
Watched the first ep of the HBO show last night. All I can say is I can't wait to see the rest and hope they do this every year. Couldn't have written a better script either. 2 teams going in different directions.

So what are everyone's thoughts on Donald Fehr being the new man in charge of the PA.
I think the players got the right guy, but that probably means another stoppage come 2012-2013.

^^ Fehr = Fans are screwed out of at least one season.

Here comes a lock-out.

So I guess I'm the only one looking forward to the stoppage?
Bettman and Fehr, what a corn-hol-le-o we're going to get.
Senior Moderator
Am I the only one who thinks Fehr was brought in to be the "hard ass" for negotiations and that's it? Feel like he'll be gone in a year and that he'll ultimately cave. I don't see a stoppage, I don't think either side is that dumb.

WAFFLE THROWING AT LEAFS GAME LEADS TO MISCHIEF CHARGE
TORONTO - A man has been charged with mischief and banned from the Air Canada Centre after waffles were thrown onto the ice from the crowd for a second time at a Maple Leafs game.
The latest incident occurred in the third period of the Leafs' 6-3 loss to Atlanta on Monday night. With the Leafs trailing 5-1, a man walked down the stairs and heaved the waffles over the glass. He was then escorted away.
The man has been barred from the ACC for all events as well as other Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment events at BMO Field and the Ricoh Coliseum.
"It's just an inappropriate action that we're trying to ensure that doesn't repeat itself," said Bob Hunter, MLSE executive vice-president for venues and entertainment.
"If the fans want to boo and the fans want to say things then they have every right and opportunity to do that. But to throw things in a crowd of 19,000, we do not consider as being appropriate behaviour."
The man was issued a trespass notice from MLSE that will stand "until such time that we remove that."
"It's not funny. The guy's an idiot, whoever's doing it," said Leafs forward Clarke MacArthur.
The first incident was some 10 days ago but Hunter said arena security could not identify the culprit.
Hunter said MLSE bars a dozen to two dozen fans a year due to inappropriate behaviour.
"It's got to be a serious nature," he said.
Hunter notes that between the ACC, BMO Field and Ricoh Coliseum, almost three million fans a year attend MLSE events.
The 12-17-4 Leafs stand 28th in the league.
