Hawks were just holding on there at the end of the 3rd. I had a feeling Philly was going to tie it. Both goalies made great saves late to keep it tied.

Congrats to the Hawks and their fans. The team is a class act and I'm glad Toews won the Conn Smythe.

Enjoy Hawks fans!! It's been a long time coming...

I love seeing the emotion of the players after they win the cup. For any kid who grew up playing hockey in Canada, this is the pinnacle of life.

Congrats to the Blackhawks and their fans.......& Statler too

It's always so awesome to watch a team hoist the Stanley Cup.
The absolute greatest thing in sports bar none.

Mad props to the Flyers....giant killers that came so close to doing it once again.

Enjoy the Cup Chicago!

Congrats to Pat Kane and the Hawks, I'm sure it was an awesome series .. sadly, I can't watch since cable isn't available at my apartment, wish I could though. Last I saw of the Hawks, they were terrible. That was 3 years ago.

Congrats to the Hawks. Its truly nice to see the best team win. Its also truly nice to see a team that did it right and build from the draft win it all. A team that struggled for years then steer the ship in the right direction. No draft fixing required.

It will also be truly nice to see some of those Hawks in Blue & White next year. (sorry, couldn't resist )

You won't believe this-this could have only happened to me or Yummy.

I was watching the game last night. With 5 minutes left in the 3rd period, and the Blackhawks leading 3-2, my Time Warner Cable goes COMPLETELY OUT!!!!

I missed the tying goal with less than 4 minutes left. I completely missed the overtime period with Kane's goal. This could only have happened to a Blackhawks fan like me!

I have everything with Time Warner Cable-phone, internet and TV. It took them 47 minutes just to answer my call (to let them know my house was completely out!)

I got lucky and found a friend who didn't lose their Time Warner connection. She turned on NBC, started taping the rest of the game (which started with 2 minutes left in the 3rd period) and I ran over there and got to see the rest of the overtime period.

I was so upset-I already knew who won the game by the time I got to her house to see the conclusion........

Wow...geebus. That is terrible! I would followup with Time-Warner and complain, perhaps...?

Sorry you had to miss the roller-coaster ride yesterday. But, what an ending...

I don't think I was able to sleep last night.

Congrats to the Hawks and their fans. They were the better team, showed it and deserved to win. And thank you FLYERS for making us proud fans even though you fell a little short of the big prize. Your determination, grit and ability to overcome adversity will not be forgotten.

Thanks brother! Believe it or not, I thought of you when this happened. I couldn't believe it! When I finally went over to my friends house, it was somewhat anticlimactic because I already knew who won. I had friends texting me saying "The Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup"

^^^ Believe me-I've called Time Warner and complained. The rep that I spoke to last night offered me a $20.00 discount this month. I told him that $20.00 won't come close to satisfying me on this. Have a supervisor call me!
