I mean, it makes sense for you to dislike the Flyers because they are your equivalent of the Chicken Wings for me. But, the Hawks...? I don't get it.

I mean, if it's me...fine. But, that's awfully strong to hate a team because of someone on the internet.
It's a lot of things, I was born in St Louis, so I was raised to hate Chicago teams, also I've been a pens fan my whole life (parents first date was to a pens flyers game in the 60's) so the fact that we played the hawks in the 92 cup didn't help my love for them any. Them being compared to the pens as the pens of the west the last couple years didn't even bother me that much, but chokessa landing there certainly helped feed my dislike. Your 70 posts a day doesn't help my love for them any, but don't flatter yourself to think you're the only reason I don't like the hawks, given like you said we only cordially know each other via the internet.

Regardless, I expect the cawks to win the cup, and just hope Philly gives them a series. I haven't missed a cup final in the last 20 years, so I just want to see entertaining hockey at this point, last night was an extremely entertaining game, a lot more so than games 1 or 2, hope to see more of game 3 type games, the flyers aren't out of it yet.

Oh, and golden boy towes may have scored the first goal in the gold medal game, but don't forget who won the game

Ahh...St. Louis boy. That makes sense now. Your Cards can suck it.

BTW, dunno about you...but, the last Pens/Hawks matchup, your team slapped Chicago up and down the ice. So, it's not like you had reason to really hate hate...more like laugh.

Well, that at least helps explains things...

And if it is 70 posts a day on the Hawks by your count, can you imagine what'll happen if they win 2 more...?

I'd say 7000. soopa's postcount is history...

I gotta be me.

I appreciate that - it's always fun when your team gets (and keeps) a marquis player.

However, hearing about how great Toews is (and Keith too, by the way) and frequently posting after games to call out their play is a yawner for most of us. They are both great players and all of us expect them to make great plays, be good leaders, etc. So you don't have to point it out every time.

It's feels like this after every Hawks game:

*Toews* *Keith* *Toews* *Keith* *Toews* *Keith*

*ToewsKeith*
*ToewsKeith*
*ToewsKeith*

Actually, I was more thinking of Doughty and Kopitar...

But, yeah...what's your point? Have I rolled my eyes at you when you were talking about how beastly Doughty was...? Or how mother-fucking worthy Johnson was...?

Please.

You implying that Jeff Finger isn't a noteworthy player?

Sure Yumchah shows his man love for Toes. (which I don't think his wife knows about BTW ) But he has a love for sports that drives it. I can appreciate that. Just hope the Hawks win it Yumchah or all that man-love will quickly turn into egg on your face.

Anyone who wants Yumchah banned just PM me

Its never fun to be a healthy scratch when your on the brink of a cup series. I'm just happy to be back on the game with my grind linemates whiskers and srika: guys who've been through the battles, the ups and downs, the long stretch of mediocrity to share in the glory finally.

Chicago is playing strangely. I'm seeing some self-doubt and tentative play out there. Let's see if they can get their mojo back in the 2nd.

I dunno if they can recover in this game. But, you never know...it's only 2 goals. Still, something is not right.

The bad line changes and careless defense has been the most frustrating thing watching this series...

I'm inching closer to hari-kari.

If Chicago does indeed model itself after the Chicken Wings...I believe they are also modelling themselves in regards to blowing a 2-game lead in the Cup Finals...
