As it stands today. Ovechkin should be at the top of that list.
Senior Moderator
Toews should be #1 on that list.

Pittsburgh is Best Sports City
It was, as a famous Pittsburgher liked to say, a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
The world champion Steelers were kicking off their title defense against the Titans. The world champion Penguins were down in D.C., Stanley Cup in tow, to meet the president. Native son Dave Wannstedt was at practice on the South Side, preparing his unbeaten Pitt football team for the weekend's win at Buffalo.
That was September 10, 2009, and here's how beautiful it was in this year's Best Sports City: Pittsburgh's Pirates did not—repeat, did not—lose that day. (So it was an off-day. Beauty is in the eye of the long-suffering beholder, OK?)
"It's been quite a year in Pittsburgh, with the Steelers winning the Super Bowl, the Penguins winning the Stanley Cup and our local college football and basketball teams having successful seasons as well," Mayor Luke Ravenstahl says. "Sports fans in Western Pennsylvania have had a lot to be proud of these last 12 months. Pittsburgh truly is the City of Champions once again."

Pittsburgh and Boston are tied for sports city success, I'd say...Both have perpetual winners in the leagues the respective cities have franchises in.

I'm not joking when I say I've never seen a worse game in my life.. And I'm talking high school hockey. Even pick up games.. The Pens couldn't pass to each other, couldn't shoot, couldn't skate, no one was on the same page, people falling down left and right, taking lazy penalties, I could go on for days. It was embarrassing.. Not to mention playing that bad, with no heart beat, and no one steps in and fights or tries to get the team fired up. I've never seen a worse game.. There was one good thing and that was Brent Johnson..
I honestly hope the Flyers literally beat the shit out of them and wakes them up..

The Leafs were fined 25K for comments made by Ron Wilson about the Sedins on radio the day before free agency opened up.

Still...I was shocked to see them needing a shootout to take down the Isles and then, yesterday's spectacle. Whatever...just a couple of games. They are going to be freaking good...2 games don't make a season.
Thank goodness Luongo got me 2 points yesterday.

Eh...I dunno. Price's D left him out to dry IMO...gotta love that 2 on none with the Sedins. Then, there was that goal where he made that nice save and then Burrows buried it with 2 defensemen standing around picking their noses...

That sucks about the nachos, yes I did notice the Fleury screen flash up
Did you notice Chris Borque go to spin around in his first shift and fall flat on his face? The stadium had some mild laughter, I was laughing my ass off

Smyth, Kopitar, Williams FTW!!!!
Skating with Anze Kopitar and Justin Williams on the Kings' top line, Smyth scored two goals and assisted on another to help Los Angeles beat the Minnesota Wild 6-3 on Thursday night.
Kopitar and Williams each added a goal and two assists to lead the Kings. The trio, which has clicked for 18 points (7 goals, 11 assists) in the first three games of the season, quickly helped Los Angeles build a three-goal lead in the first period.
