Clean hit.

I have nothing to complain about...just hope Captain Serious is healthy enough to play the next game.

Kinda funny to see little Versteeg jump Mitchell afterwards though.

That'd be why Tallon got demoted/reorg-ed.

But, hey...when you have a team that can usually out offense most other teams...who needs goaltending. See, Tallon got that part right.

That's where Burke messed up.

Suicide pass. Not much chance of Towes getting away from that one especially since Mitchell just stepped out of the penalty box.

Why did Vesa Toskala interrupt two people having sex? He wanted to know what it felt like to stop someone from scoring.

What did Billy do after the Leafs won the Stanley Cup? He turned off his PlayStation.

What does Mike Komisarek and Timmins, Ontario have in common???? They are both Minus 25 come christmas.

Nope. This is brutal. How many odd man rushes do they need to score? What an awesome breakaway by Stepniak. And for fuck sakes, can the goaltending please make a save. You can't get beat by a wrist shot from the top of the circle in the NHL.

They haven't won a game all year and in past week in practice they spent their time "having fun" instead of working hard. Great strategy. Much better then work on the weak aspects of your game.

These Jokes Are Not Funny
The plight of the Leafs is not amusing after what's happened with Vesa Toskala this morning. I appreciate we are all down on the team but when a player becomes suicidal from their performance (and the media's response to it) then we should all rally together behind him. As most of you know, Toskala tried to commit suicide last night, by standing on the train tracks just south of Dupont. Thankfully, thankfully, the train went through his legs.

I still can't believe the Leafs are around 60% PK...

Who's in charge of that, Wilson or one of his assistants...? Axe them.

Nice to see Huet rebound nicely with a shutout performance even without 2 of the Hawks' top players in Seabrook and Toews...

What has Ron Wilson ever won? I agree they should get rid of him. The players can play better than this and they need a coach who can get it out of them.

I wish I could remember the player that said it. But he basically laid the blame of Washington's finals loss to the Red Wings on Wilson. He claimed something about how they had no confidence whatsover because Wilson built up the Wings so much.

And I recall watching something on that finals where it showed Wilson always mentioning how great the Wings were.

Lets not kid ourselves here, Wilson isn't the only problem but IMO he's a huge factor. But he'll be coach until at least after the Olympics.

Yep. On my team, we have 5 starters from last season out...3 for definitely awhile...

Toews and Seabrook, erm...who knows.

Then, you have Booth getting his head taken off by Richards...Gonchar is gonzo. Demitra is out for awhile. Daniella Sedin is out shaving her legs...Um, there's a few more.

Congrats Moog, its about time you guys have a decent team.

And shockingly, they did it through the draft. Crazy.

Excellent franchise pillars in Doughty, Brown, and Kopitar. The big pleasant surprise is Quick IMO...but, every successful rebuild needs to have late-round surprises.

They should be a playoff team this year...

It'll be pretty neat if they match up with Chicago. That'll be an entertaining one.

Hawks and Kings look to rule the West for some time. Against the Pens and Caps of the East. Should be an interesting next 10 years.

As much as I dislike them, I think the Blues are also another team to add to the future of the West's better teams. They look good...

As for the Avs...I dunno. Despite their amazing record, I don't think they can sustain this level of play...
