Ugh now it's Canucks vs. Blues. Does anyone care about these two teams? Might as well be the Whalers vs. Jets.

That one called with four minutes to go in the third, that was a stretch. Stahl made it play well for him.

I don't know if he will...Giroux played a pretty solid game. He clearly knows it was a dumb penalty to take, no need to bring his spirits down further with game 3 two days away.

I like watching the Blues-Canucks series pretty scrappy

Giroux slash, wasn't as bad as Knubles check. Just at the wrong time, man the compo sticks break too damn easy.

You may not realize it but the Bruins and the Canadiens really don't like each other. The last regular season game Shawn Thornton was in the penalty box screaming at Gorges. My lip readings not the best but I'm pretty sure it was, "you're a f'n pu$$y, I'm gonna' f'n kill you, I'm gonna choke you the f' out!" The last part was said with a hand gesture to the neck.

I mean they really don't like each other .

In that way, it's very similar to some of those backwards, inbred little towns in Georgia, Alabama, etc. You walk through Pittsburgh and you see mostly depressed, uneducated mongoloids. However, since they've been there their whole life and can't get out, they tend to be good sports fans. This extends to hockey as well, I suppose. So I guess you can say something complimentary about Pittsburgh hockey fans after all.
I grew up outside of Pittsburgh. I hated the city growing up. I went to university and then left the shithole area. After working as a field engineer in several locales I can honestly say that I never knew how good I had it growing up. The people are friendly. There is an incredibly strong work ethic. The hospitals are top notch. Many important discoveries were made here (polio vaccine, AC power transmission, first commercial nuke plant, first radio station). Very few natural disasters (can't remember the last time there was a tornado nearby). Not much traffic (compared to Houston, LA, Boston, Baltimore and others). Technology is blossoming once again with advances in nuclear power, medicine, and robotics. Low crime rate (just stay away from the hill). And while the rest of the country is feeling the sting of the recession, Pittsburgh home values stay level and technology jobs are on the rise.

Yeah, Pittsburgh is a pretty great town. All we have to worry about is some loser in a pink bunny suit taking shits in (or around) our rest stops.

Where you from originally? You still live there? Where did you go to school?

Oh and the Warner Bros. opened their first theater in New Castle, PA. It's about an hour North of Pittsburgh. Zambelli fireworks are also produced in New Castle.

Don't knock Georgia either. When I worked there, I worked with some smart "inbreds" that had no more education beyond highschool. They might talk slow, but they get it. Do you?

fawk N A...another big brawl between the Nucks and the Blues...."shut them bitches down, shut them bitches down!" Stop crying and play the damn game. :shakehead

Blues are too young to be in the Playoffs. They made too many mistakes. While they may have outplayed the Nucks physically in game two, the Nucks played smarter...therefore they won.

^ When the Nucks have one of the best goalies in the game...um, it's going to be hard to beat them. Add to the fact that the Blues are very young and inexperienced...yeah.

The Flyers played a good game last night, but two things bit them in my opinion; Carter missing a wide open net in the third, and then the bullshit hooking call on Carter near the end of regulation. That was an absolute dive. Of course, the Pens scored on the subsequent PP.

In OT, they killed themselves with those idiotic penalties. Knuble, what the hell were you thinking?! Your team was on the power play fer christsakes!

Still, the Flyers can play with Pittsburgh.

I didn't get to see the game, but 35 saves?? pretty good. Glad to see the Caps put Varlamov in net though. Allowed only one goal, in 25 shots. Impressed, Theodore allowed four in less in game one.

It was a great game. I feel sorry for Varlamov, he played well. the one goal was a great pass & shot.

Lundy stopped minimum 4 "unstoppable" shots.

I am a Ranger fan and the way they are playing is leaps and bounds above their shi*ty play for 40% of the season.

February woke up a few teams this year. April put a few to sleep. Caps need to ride Varly the rest of the season, he'll be their number one next year.

Not over yet, though teams up 2-0 are 87% likely to win the series. But Lundy it an effing wall.

And credit must be again given to Khabibulin...he made some absolutely terrific stops from point-blank.

If Chicago keeps getting this kind of quality backstopping from Bulin...who knows, the Kid Hawks may just advance and make some noise in the playoffs in their first year at it!

Calgary's strategy seems to be kinda backfiring...From the two games, they seem to be literally throwing everything at the Hawks in the 1st period...everything.

Then...they start to run out of steam. Seriously, maybe I'm off to orbit on this thought but how many teams out there can consistently try to play with that sort of hit/physical style for entire 60 minutes? I think Calgary's worn out by the 2nd which is why in both games, the Hawks came back and took it to them...

Whatever...keep doing whatever you're doing, Flames!

Great game by the Bruins last night...

It was also great to see Bergeron take it to Gorges after taking all those cheap shots...
