I was disappointed to see the Penguins lose last night, but what a game by Ovechkin and Crosby. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the game in Chicago tonight.

^ If anything, I'm just absolutely floored by the young Hawks...there is never any quit in the team and to now come back twice against arguably the best netminder in the game twice...that's quite something!

And of course, they did it against Calgary a few times in the last series too...

I'm with you buddy...I'm anxious to see how they play in front of their home crowd tonight. I was soooo glad they split in Vancouver. It showed that Luongo is really human and they CAN beat him.

We'll take them buddy! I was REALLY excited about possibly getting the Penguins in Kansas City, but ultimately, I knew they were never going to come to town. But we do have a beautiful new facility (Sprint Center) that's aching for a major league tenant!!!

I believe that if the Hawks can stay out of the sinbin, they will be in good shape...pretty much all of Vancouver's goals are on the PP, right...?

Damn Canucks...they won the first game in the Windy City. They (unfortunately) do a good job of clogging up the middle (in front of the net).

^ The Hawks played a poor game IMO...I've seen them play way better in the playoffs. I would think this game is similar to what happened in Game 3 vs. Calgary. Let's see how the kids respond for Game 4...

On a different note...anyone catch Ovechkin join in with the crowd and do the "Penguins suck" chant...?

Did the Hawks show up to play today

Nucks did a good job blocking all those shots

They were off today. Alot of turnovers and the passes were not very good...Seabrook's misplay on one of the Sedin sisters was also another mistake.

I'm counting on the Hawks to bounce back next game. They are too good not to at least go back to Vancouver all tied up...

And Habby needs to stop playing every puck that goes behind the net...

Vancouver did a hell of job playing tonight. Better than the other night in their own city :shakehead .

I have a feeling they'll go home 3-1 and shut down the hawks in the 5th game.

Not a good call, but the Ref lost site of the puck.

Even still the puck went in before the whistle, it should have went to video replay.

You do know Van plays better on the road. Chicago fans will be quiet the entire next game.

Vs. did a good reply and talked about the Ref losing site of the puck, going for the whistle and the puck going into the net. Though the whistle hadn't been blown the Ref can still stop the action. It was all very fast.

Will have to see what the next day morning QB's say about it from Toronto.

They talked about how damn quiet it was during the game and talked to who ever drop the "first puck" ( I didn't see who it was, TV was on in the other room, old Blackhawks guy). He was pissed that it was so damn quiet, started talking about how much noise the make during the National Anthem.

The call that was made was technically right from the one ref's perspective, however the intent rule is kinda dumb.

The Vancouver fans are nuts. Super loud during the Canadian anthem, then even ten times louder when the Nucks are doing well (score).

Bobby Hull dropped the first puck yesterday. I watched the game on Comcast Sports Chicago, but towards the end I could hear the refs and players talk pretty clear

It looks like the Nucks are back on track and playing their game. What you Hawk fans have seen in game 1 (last period) and game 2 (about 1/2 the game) were how the Nucks played when they went on the horrible losing streak back in January. Now it's the Hawks turn to make adjustments...boy can that Brian Campbell skate!

^ Yeah, Soupy can skate...but, he has his share of braindead passes. Anyone note how angry Bowman was at him when the Hawks coughed up the tie in Game 1...?

I thought in the whole series the Hawks were guilty of making those long high risk stretch passes...not just Campbell.

For some reason, I noticed Campbell the most...then again, @ $7M per year...you tend to notice what he does more.

Chicago did a poor job adjusting when your Nucks started clogging the neutral zone yesterday. The strategy that worked in Vancity obviously was not working yesterday and yet the team was poor in adjusting to it.

The forecheck was also ineffective IMO. Again, all in all a poorly played game by the Hawks. Very similar to Game 3 versus Calgary.
