What an awful game by Dallas last night. I don't know what the fuck Benn was thinking cross-checking Stone in the face while he was on the ice. I knew the Stars lost the game and the series right then and there.
I know a lot of people are hating on the Stars fans for throwing stuff on the ice after the Stars let in 3 goals in the first 7 minutes. I agree that it was not at all the right thing to do. However... if I was a Stars fan who spent hundred of dollars to go to that game only to see the captain get kicked out in the first minutes of the game, and to see the goalie let in 3 goals in the first 7 minutes, and to see such an awful performance by my team, in the heat of the moment I can't say I wouldn't throw something on the ice after watching that abomination of a first 10 min to a game. I would like to think I definitely wouldn't throw anything, but I could not guarantee it after watching that.

He has evolved from the troll/agitator in Calgary to a whole lot of something else with the Panthers. He reminds me of a larger Marchand now. Antics are much more controlled but still, annoying if you are against him.
The other thing is the reclamation projects on the squad: Montour, Bennett, Duclair, et al.

Yeah, like Treliving was the Flames' GM and basically was panned for putting together a slow roster and then, hiring a coach that was a bad fit for that group...and so, now Leaves thinks he has what it takes to lead them to the promised land?
I don't get it. He just failed in Calgary. What makes Toronto think he can be good for the Leafs?
Coaching is also the same thing to an extent. Coach ABC just gets canned and finds a job elsewhere immediately...um...okay?
