Typical Rangers v team not playing well statistically. They play down under the lower tier team. Also, seems many goalies have career games against us frequently.

 

It's the opposite for the Pens, they get up against a good team and always play down and lose to crap teams, yeah it's fun

 

And again... Pens losing 3-1 after giving up 3 unanswered goals rattle off 5 goals in the third period, my question is where has this urgency been all season?

lol the Devils players just skated around and waited for a dance partner. Would love to know what sparked the fight. Definitely has an old time feel with all the players dropping the gloves, just wish they'd take the helmets off to actually fight

 

Last game Rempe checked a Devil, he "elbowed" his head & was suspended 4 games. They were butthurt.

 

Got it, I wasn't sure if that was the Devils he elbowed, makes sense

 

Rempe is kinda the front and center of this escalation. I think he's been tossed in all 3 games against NJ?

I think cabby, you probably should relax...most experienced teams at this juncture and even the regular season is about trying to get into the playoffs and saving their energy. The Rangers are veteran-enough team to know this. This was was sorta how I saw the Pens towards the middling play that Ack was often frustrated about.

Obviously, it's not a science either. It can backfire. Not enough intensity into the playoffs and you're ousted. Or you coast too much and don't even make the playoffs. But, I think the Rangers will be fine. They are going to be one of the top contenders. The thing about the East is I'm not sure if they have on paper to take out the powerhouse West teams like Denver and Vegas. We'll see. Unofficially, I want to see the Canes make some noise as they are a fun team. Rangers are fine too but sorry, I hate Trouba and can't stand him for obvious reasons.

 

But, that does not mean I am rooting against NYR. One character I don't like does not make the team. And how can I hate Breadman.
