FWIW, if the Leaves get eliminated, they are our ONE SHOT at taking away the #1 overall pick from the Oilers. Because, I think the NHL will want to gift it to Torannah to atone for the McDavid mistake.

Try as they might, Hawks just are not as deep as the Golden Knights. If they are not swept in Game 4 tomorrow, it should be wrapped in 5 for Vegas.

Blues are surprisingly being taken to the limit by the Vancouver Rioters. BUT...I think losing Big Jay has something to do with it...that's a big cog in their vicious blueline. All about defense in the playoffs.

So, the vitriol from Caps fans is that the team looked disinterested and disengaged...Well, they had what, a top 4 offense in the NHL? So, if you can check a team into looking "disinterested" and completely neuter their attack...that's some impressive coaching/system. This is a team that was apparently left for dead despite Tavares taking his services to Toronto to get eliminated in the pre-playoff round.

The flat cap has me thinking Chicago will be very middling and mediocre again.
Not sure I like their new coach and while I don't really subscribe to amazing goaltenders, without Lehner and likely Crawford being done as a Hawk with UFA, what can the Hawks do with the flat cap...? They'd have to shed a few large contracts and I don't think that's easy. Pete Chiarelli isn't around to help anymore.
