Yeah, well, on talent, the Isles are not even in the same galaxy as the Bolts so, this will have to be the formula. In some ways, I wished the Hawks did that more given how awful their blueline is now.

I'll take the Bolts in 6. As much as I'm impressed with Dallas taking out Vegas, I don't think they have enough depth to push out TB. Just hope the series is close!

Usually means that the speed of the Bolts (i.e. their depth) is a factor. Penalties were not as much of a problem for the Stars against VGK because they matched up rather well against each other.

I agree that Tampa is deep, but my God that call on Benn in OT probably made IMJ lose his fawking mind. I'm not a fan of either team and I was pissed lol

Agree...that was a horsebleep call. A pro league which is the best for the sport and they have idiot calls like that.

Yes, that call on Benn last game infuriated me. And what the fuck was that icing call against the Stars that hit the goalie leg pad? The refs all around are doing a poor job this final; bad calls and missed calls for both teams.

No. I will not believe TomTomBriddy and his cheating ways could help the Bolts. The Bolts won it the good ol' fashioned way: With great scouting, drafting, development, and system. They were my pick to rep the East and proved it throughout these playoffs -- this is without Stamkos too.
Bolts winning without their "Elite Superstar" captain says a lot about how Steve Y put that team together the last few years and less about him being a leader or elite whatsoever. They won in spite of him which is pretty amazing, but also shows addition by subtraction because they never won with him
