Even if Korea ties up, France and Switzerland will move on because of goal differential -- France +2, Switzerland +3, Korea even.

The exact origin of the wave is disputed. Its growth can be traced across three different sports, spread over three different North American countries. Krazy George has been quoted as saying "If you don't believe me, ask (former) Edmonton Oilers superstar Wayne Gretzky. He was there."

Did you guys know that FIFA's president is from Switzerland and he's actually watching the Swiss play Korea right now... I wonder how many calls are going to go switzerland's way the next game as well.

I just watched the Switzerland match on tape...the first thing that comes to mind the ref as you guys have been talking about, if I was from Korea i'd be going crazy. Should be a good game against the Ukraine monday morning
