It felt so good to be surrounded by Laker fans at the beach... my friend had a bonfire and I just had to take my small TV w/ a power inverter and I set it on the beach for everyone to see. Turned it on in the 3rd quarter and wasnt feeling so good when they went down by 20 but it only went uphill from there! LOVED IT!

I smell victory, I can almost taste it!

after game 4........

Celtics D > Lakers

PP, KG, RA > Lakers D

Gasol and Sasha play D like little girls. Too much Euro talent on the floor at one time. Spurs can do it becasue their euro players can play some D.

Sasha let old man Allen get by him and Allen didn't even put much of a move on. Sasha's a little bitch.

Fisher needs more playing time

Nice to see Odom show up again. If only he could play every game like the last 2.

Leon Powe got very little playing time agaain. I don't get it Doc? After a great Game 2 performance, he's had 6 and 9 minutes the last 2.

Going back to Kobe, I still give Kobe credit for taking this team to the Finals. If the Lakers lose 4-1 or 4-2, that makes me give Kobe even more credit for what this team has accomplished. On paper, I actually never thought they were that good, but he got them to the big show and through the offensively strong West conf. Still not sure how they did it. Maybe the west is not as good as people think it is, at least maybe not in the playoffs where defense counts.

Oh yeah almost forgot...

Kobe let old and slow PJ Brown semi-posterize him.

when Ray Allen took Sasha to hole late in the 4th, I thought I was watching "He Got Game" again.

So, was it the reffing this time around, or maybe KG and his "bullshit moving screens"?

I will say this, I'm glad to see Vujacic stepping up and lightening Kobe's leadership role as being the biggest fucking baby on the court...At least Kobe's teaching him SOMETHING...

Oh, and someone MIGHT want to consider playing a little D on Allen...just a thought.

Hehehe. No worries, that was a great comeback by the Celts. Pierce, who I still maintain is a bitch, took over that game, and Doc made some great coaching moves to open the floor up for him and Ray. Phil did no such thing.

I'm REALLY disappointed as any true Lakers fan should be, but lord knows we've put the hurt on some teams just like that. Its time we took one in the gut.

What happened was the Celtics played great, and the Lakers showed their youth. The Celts not only have vets out there, they have all-star, first team type vets. The Lakers are young and upstart but most of them haven't made it past the first round.

If you were to look at the pre-season picks, Lakers we're ranked 9th in the Western Conference. One game isn't going to take the work that was done by the entire organization to get to where they are today. And certainly, this team isn't even really built to win it this year. They were opportunistic to get Pau, because of they Bynum injury. In the long term view of things, this is a good stepping stone.

I'm still saying this will end in 6, but it'll be Boston's title. I can only hope for Lakers can take the series game by game now.

wow i only caught the last 1:30 of the game cause my bro graduated...i guess i missed a not so great game? If you can let a big lead through 2.5 quarters slip away then you've either gotten too cocky about the lead...comfortable...or you just plain ol started f$%kin up....

i saw that blow by RA and man i thought sasha had better d than that...haha it's the nba finals...if they blow past you in that situation you foul...going to the line is better than a guaranteed 2 points...and pau should've rotated even if KG would be wide open...but what if's right....

sorry laker fans...not your year but it was already known...buti really wanted phil to get his 10th coaching ring...again...not a big laker fan but love phil jackson...

i cried myself to sleep last night.. then woke up in cold sweats.. Kobe choked, Phil brain Farted, and everyone else fell with them.

Excuse = None

A Lakers Finals Victory in '08 is down to .0001 %

Ahem.....

Like I've been saying every year for the past 12 years..

Kobe is disgustingly overrated. Paul Pierce isn't a bitch... Kobe is a bitch... he's Pierce's bitch.

Kobe? Top 5? Probably...

but that's about it, folks.

I just remembered that Rafer Alston clowned Sasha too earlier in the season.

PP lit the court up, wow.
Didn't expect Kobe to be dry for a whole quarter though.

i'm going to leave G-rice alone because:
1) he's retired
2) while he was in the league, he had one of the hottest wives. cult status.

i'd say PP since carmelo is still young and may be carrying some baby fat still. PP looks like he has man boobs.
