The only other place I could see him going is Denver.

I'm not sure the Eagles will cut him outright without trying to get something for him. Although deactivated for the rest of this season, there is still 5 years left on his contract. Wouldn't they still be obligated to pay him otherwise depending on contract clauses? Your thoughts?

Yeah, I know.. but, you must realize that they have to drop with that loss... My wife smacked me when she read these... she doesn't like the steelers, but she LOVES cowher. I think Pittsburghs got a great team, I just think they are screwed if Ben misses too much time, especially if he gets knocked out around the playoffs....

T.O. gets

PHILADELPHIA -- Terrell Owens' season is effectively over after an arbitrator ruled Wednesday that the Philadelphia Eagles were justified in suspending him for four games.

Arbitrator Richard Bloch wrote that the Eagles clearly proved that the suspension was justified, and were within their right to pay their All-Pro receiver but not allow him to return "due to the nature of his conduct and its destructive and continuing threat to the team."

"We couldn't have written it any better ourselves," an Eagles official told ESPN's Sal Paolantonio.

Bloch heard more than 13 hours of testimony last week. Owens' side argued the penalty is excessive and the Eagles' decision to deactivate him is too severe. Owens wanted to be reinstated to the Eagles or released so he can sign with another team.

"We are pleased that the arbitrator has upheld the right of a club to suspend a player for conduct detrimental to the club," said Harold Henderson, the NFL's head of labor relations.

The players union said in a statement that it was disappointed with the decision, which it believes ignores the contract's limits on team discipline. "We are confident that we put in a winning case at the hearing last Friday," the statement said, "and we still believe Terrell Owens had a right to a legitimate reinstatement."

Owens was suspended Nov. 5 after he again criticized quarterback Donovan McNabb, called the organization "classless" and fought with former teammate Hugh Douglas, who serves as team "ambassador."

Two days later, the Eagles extended the suspension to four games and told Owens not to return. The reigning conference champions are 0-3 without Owens and 4-6 overall, last in the NFC East.

Owens has five years remaining on a seven-year, $48.97 million contract that he signed when he came to Philadelphia in March 2004. His problems started when he demanded a new contract after an outstanding season in which he caught 77 passes for 1,200 yards and 14 touchdowns, helping the Eagles reach the Super Bowl.

With Owens, the Eagles are 17-5 over two seasons. Without him, they're 2-5, including two meaningless losses and two playoff wins.

I only have 3 WR... Marvin Harrison, Lee Evans, and Kevin Curtis, I want a better WR and I can make the trade if I trade Tom Brady for either Chad Johnson or Larry Fitzgerald. Do you guys think this is a good trade? I think tom brady will only be good for this week when he plays KC but the remaining 3 games have pretty good pass defenses (Jets, Bills, and Tampa Bay), I am thinking of letting brady loose since he has been forced to throw since he has been without Corey Dillon and it seems that Dillon will be back soon which means bad fantasy numbers for brady like in the beginning of the season.

I have Eli Manning and Jake Delhomme as my other QBs

or shoud i just forget about the trade and pick up another WR...what about someone like Koren Robinson, he returns kicks and is also a regular receiver and he gets good yardage, even without a TD, he could get 5-6 points.

I don't know how you're scoring is but I'd trade for Chad Johnson in a heart beat.

Or Shaun Alexander if he's available.

But, that's wishful thinking, ain't it?

I don't mean your personal scoring. I mean if QB's score way more than WR's.

Need some FF advice from the football gurus here.

I have brew brees in my fantasy lineup for week 12; if his TE Gates doesn't play because of his injury(gameday call) should I dump him in favor of Favre? I really need to win this weeks game in order to clench a seat in the playoffs.

Oh, also, if you have to pick between starting WR's Isaac Bruce (Rams) Joe Juerevicius (Seahawks) or Muhsin Muhamad (Bears) which would you pick?

Any help would be great

I'm thinking Jurevicius since Giants away suck. You could always check the teams pass defense rankings. I'd probably stick with Brees just because he's Brees.

i was thinking jurevicius too but he hasn't really produced much for me this year. this is a key game so i'm a bit nervous about starting him.

Projections change with the scoring systems, for example... standard Yahoo scoring is normally 60-70 points. But, when they are changed to add points for receptions, carries, or changing it from 50yds passing per point, to 25 yds passing per point, etc... the points can be much higher.

id go with dallas clark... seems to be a good target for the best qb in the game. i like lj and he might get the ball considering the eagles wr problems. but with mcmahon running the show, it doesnt look good. GB does suck though. tough call....

BTW - not that im on the bears wagon but they are looking awesome this year. i personally didnt think they would be where they are right now going into the season. this week should be a good matchup against the bucs.
