Okay, sure...just like how Indy will lose all their remaining games and not score touchdowns the rest of the way.

Ok.....I lost friggin Bulger again for a few weeks it looks like. I have Brunell on the bench but my confidence in him is shot as of late. Should I snatch up Jamie Martin and start him this week vs. Hou.?

If I remember correctly, your first two turnovers didn't result in any points for us. And your 3rd doesn't really count since it was the last play of the game and 4th down

I still can't believe you guys held Jordan to 52 yards on 27 carries

My Weekly "Terrific Twelve"
(I don't post all 32 teams anymore)

a few teams might seem a little out of place. But, hell... they are "weekly" rankings, and change as such. I also like writing the top 12 much better, I can give more attention to the comments, and these are the teams looking towards the playoffs.

Surprise of the week: Chicago dominating the Panthers.
Upset of the week: Steelers losing to the Ravens.

1.1 – Indianapolis – Proved on sunday why they are the best team in the NFL, offense is carrying the team again. Look for this team to rest their starters in weeks 15 & 16 (unless they are 14-0).
2.2 – Denver – Defense really showed up, shutting out the Jets... and a shutout is hard, no matter who the opponent.
3.4 – Seattle - Struggled against SF, but they still won and that's what matters. Alexander is league MVP right now.
4.7 – Jacksonville - Offense has come alive with 61 points in the past 2 games (without Taylor). #1 pass defense in the NFL, and only allowed 3 rushing TDs all season long.
5.3 - Pittsburgh - How do you lose to Baltimore? With maddox as your QB. If they don't have Ben back for Indy, they are doomed.
6.5 - Cincinnati - only fell one spot, due to strong showing at Indy. Where was the defense that game?
7.8 - Dallas - Nice showing against the Lions, the defense has really showed up, they swarm to the ball. Marion Barber is doing well.
8.10 - San Diego - losing Gates would hurt them, as it did in the beginning of the season. Brees was almost perfect, connecting on his first 9 passes.
9.12 - Chicago - Wow! I think that this is the best D in the NFL right now. Vasher had 2 picks to go along with his 108yd TD last week. Running the ball and a solid D = recipe for success.
10.11 - NY Giants - Manning is maturing pretty fast, and has looked very sharp this season. His play action reminds me of Peyton's. Burress had a great day, and they took another game up in the division.
11.6 - Carolina - Ouch, that was ugly. Delhomme was picked on all day long, and the Panthers ended their 6 game win streak. Steve Smith had another great day (14-169yds)
12.NR - New England - I put them in the top 12 because they are leading their division (6-4, 2-0afcE) and are still winning despite adversity. However, if they lose someone like Brady, Dillon, or Branch... they are done for. Sorry to hear about the coaches dad.

On the bubble:
Tampa Bay
Atlanta
Kansas City

I think Carolina is better than the Giants. Chicago is just that good. Even factoring in Carolina's weak schedule I think they'll beat the Giants who can't win away.

There's still a TON of football left to play. These scenarios are basically worthless. I know you put a lot of time into all of this but it's a waste of time IMO until we're around week 14-15. Peyton or Alexander could go down with a blown ACL this week and change everything, or some teams could go 6-0 down the stretch and change everything. WAY too early for all this speculation IMO.

This is garbage that his suspension got reduced...

================

Report: T.O. suspension to be cut

Eagles may release WR to avoid further controversy

Posted: Wednesday November 23, 2005 10:03AM; Updated: Wednesday November 23, 2005 11:53AM

NEW YORK (Ticker) -- Terrell Owens may get his wish after all.

According to a report in Newsday, arbitrator Richard Bloch is expected to reduce Owens' four-game suspension from four games to one or two games later Wednesday.

Owens was suspended four games by Reid for conduct detrimental to the team November 9. The NFL Players Association is seeking to have the suspension reduced and wants the Eagles to cut Owens if they have no intention of playing him again.

The report indicates that the Eagles, who planned to de-activate Owens for the remainder of the season, will release the mercurial superstar receiver instead. Philadelphia is concerned that Owens will cause a distraction if the ruling allows him to return to the Eagles' practice facility.

Owens has stated all along that he wants to return to the Eagles, but would want to be released if Philadelphia didn't plan to play him. If released, Owens would go through the league's waiver system, with the worst team getting the first shot of claiming him.

Owens is making a base salary of $3.75 million this season.
