I am from SA so we have been getting Saints news and they are saying that Smith will be the starter. Stecker will share carries/plays but will be used more as a back up and in passing situations.

Good pick up by the way.

No biggie. The old Cowboys teams with Nate and Irvin had the White House. You can take your side-ho there, snort some lines, get ripped off your ass. Vikings just suck at ball and getting caught this year.

According to Yahoo some nice pickups:

Lee Evans - They say that Kelly Holcombe will manage the O better. As a Fins fan remember, that our secondary is totally weak that we're picking up street free agents to play nickel so it might've been a fluke.

Antonio Bryant
Cedric Benson - Jones is hurt
Jurevicius - obvious reasons

Brees. Even though Bulger plays in domes, Indy's D hasn't been shown to be week.

I guess it depends on how for real you think Indy's defense is. What is likely to happen is that STL will get down early and try to pass them selves out of the hole. This would be similar to what happened when STL played the Giants. Bulger ended up throwing for 442 yds, 2TD's and 3 INTs trying to overcome the deficit.

Brees is not a bad bet either considering they will probably rebound pretty well, but I personally would start Bulger.

Yeah, but you have to factor in their pansy schedule and what type of offenses they have faced. If they shut down STL's offense I will give them some credit.

Im affraid of the INT's pouring in for Bulger in my leagues INT's are -2 pts, plus IND is my defense. Also, even against SF indy did not run away in that game so maybe Bulger may not have to throw it 60 times Its going to be hard to bench him.

That's why I said they're not weak. To me they still are untested with an O as potent as StL but they do shut down scrub teams unlike before.

Jurevicius vs Hou or Kennison vs Was? I'm leaning toward Joey since Houston's weak.

Who to start?

Palmer vs Tenn

Collins vs SD

I'd start Bulger..... this game will be a shootout esp if Indy take a big lead. Plus martz is out i think the RAMS will be a better team without him, hope they use S. Jackson more to open up the passing game. Indy's secondary will be tested.

Brees has LT stealing passing yds.

Nugsy.....Damn everyone is telling me to start Bulger. I have Indy's defense though Everything I have read points to Brees being totally setup to have a day vs Oak's 29th ranked pass defense. Decisions decisions, the best thing going for me is that I am 5-0 right now and can afford a loss if I gamble a bit. In your case I would go the Carson Daly Palmer

QB C. Palmer (Cin - QB)
Palmer has thrown 11 touchdown passes, the league's second most. The Titans are weak against the pass, having allowed 11 touchdown passes. Look for Palmer to register another multiple touchdown game.
Last Wk: 22/33 Cmp/Att, 239 PaYd, 2 PaTd, 0 Int, 1 RuYd, 0 RuTd
Proj.: 16/27 Cmp/Att, 245 PaYd, 2 PaTd, 1 Int, 3 RuYd, 0 RuTd

On the flip side

QB K. Collins (Oak - QB)
Collins should be starting for your team each and every week. He's averaging more than 270 yards passing a game and has six touchdown passes on the year.
Last Wk: 0/0 Cmp/Att, 0 PaYd, 0 PaTd, 0 Int, 0 RuYd, 0 RuTd
Proj.: 18/31 Cmp/Att, 285 PaYd, 2 PaTd, 1 Int, 3 RuYd, 0 RuTd

Intangibles - Even David Carr got one in the end zone vs Tennesse.

I'm gonna be at the Chiefs-Redskins game this Sunday . I'm going with three friends, two of which are redskins fans, myself and the other guy are Chiefs fans, so it should be fun heckling each other. Our seats are lower level and around the 10 yard line, 18 rows up. Not the best, but not bad. We'll be tailgating @ 9am since it's a noon game. Any other KC guys gonna be there?

You have a fighting chance. The first move I would make is switch Reggie Wayne to W/R and start Joe Jurevicius. Matt Hassleback's receivers are still hurt so Joe should have another big day. You never know what Peyton is going to show up...so starting Reggie Wayne against Marvin Harrison is scary. How do points work for the W/R?
