Hardtop? Are the soft tops expensive? Do you replace it with OEM or is there a aftermarket company that makes them?

 

Hard tops add on average 10whp and 25wtq though. With a soft top you get nothing.

 

Soft tops aren't cheap. And of course, oem is 50x the price of aftermarket.

The oem is known to eventually rip. So maybe going aftermarket isn't a bad idea. A friend was considering one but didn't end up going through with it... but it seemed like a legit alternative to oem.

To answer your question , Jeff, yes, there are aftermarket soft tops.

OEM isn't that much more (if at all) than a quality aftermarket. The top itself is the cheap part, the labor is expensive.
