whats up guys? have not been in here for a few weeks.... Anyways just thought i'd share what i picked up yesterday ....

Got a darn good deal on these ($1100 )just the tires are not the right size but i can always sell them on craigslist since they still have some meat on them.

three of the wheels are perfect and the one shown has a small 1" rash on the top right corner in the second pic. Now gota get the tpms adaptors and correct rubbers.

50mm offset i believe... not 100% sure gotta look at the labels on the rims. Going to get some spacers
215/35/18 hankook venus tires with about 65-75% meat left on them.

The guy just sold his mazdaspeed protege and got a S2000 which was pretty darn sweet looking. Not sure why he sold them at that price. But im pretty happy i got these because i almost pulled the trigger on some enkei nt03+m at speed concepts this past week for alot more.

kyle, what offset did you order when you tried to get ame tracers?
want something that not many are running here in azine and te37s are too common. i think its either tracers or rpfs now.

Yea thats all ive ever seen them on in pics.

As for the tips, im gonna get in contact with mike from ATLP and see if there is anyway i can have them mounted back on mufflers, and how much its gonna run me. Im still trying to decide if i like the side laser etch, or the etching on top of the tip.

I bought these as insurance incase i ever get rear-ended again and my exhaust gets trashed since its not made anymore.

Ill let you know though.

its rarely driven hard on corners and lowered suspensions doesn't do much to stress the rsb mount to rip off. i think the mounting point is just weak. its hollow with a sheet of metal.

and very very bad news about my tl-s...
rear lower subframe where rear sway bar attaches to is cracked or torned off.
hopefully acura covers it under warranty unless it'll cost me a fortune to replace the lower frame... wtf...
oh i heard about your car - so not cool.
it makes me quite worried about when i get my sway bars.

as for the wheels. it makes me so sad te37's are so over done i'm still very much in love with bronze te's tho and i contemplate them for the TL from time to time so Min just don't get bronze anything haha unless we want to be mistaken for each other in the future

Yea i was there at "The Shop's" open house... Me and everyone else in the team were all thinking the same thing.. "How is this a open house??" We expected to be meeting people and what not...but it was set up like a club with bouncers and everything. Epic fail on a open house...

Did get some free food, and went back outside with the rest of the team to talk about our cars and upcoming events. So no pics... Try checking North West Tuners site, i heard some guy that was taking pics of our cars saying thats where he was gonna put them.

How did you know i was there?

um....im sorry but that looks dumb.

ill never be able to understand how clothing company logos belong in a car?...
if your gonna try and put "designer name" designs on your metal door panels...at least try and blend in the door handle and window switch and speaker...

he may love it and thats great. but needs alot of work imo.

There is nothing wrong with micro suede on dashes, door panels, etc etc.

Maybe if it wasnt on a sheet metal door panel it wouldnt be so bad. When i think about sheet metal doors i think race car, and not once have i ever seen a race car with clothing logos all over.

Tell him to just put Bride fabric to match his seats on the factory door panels and call it good.

how much weight reduction is there really in removing your door panels? I mean seriously maybe 100 pounds? Get rid of that insulation, arm rests, power windows etc... for 100lbs? forget that. If it were a damn honda not a gay-on could pull the red micro suede on the arm rests and panel inserts.

I dont think they even weight close to 100lbs. I pulled door panels on a tc before to do a stereo install and i'd say together they are probably around 30-35lbs.

He has cf doors. and he had to take his door panels off because of conflicts with the 2nd door bar on his cage? if im not mistaken. his tc's is one of the few im still in love with - just wish it was white. and he would buy my damn volks!

meet anytime i'm down! - as long as theirs not rain and ppl will actually show

its like how 50 cents house has LV fabric walls in one of the rooms lol...fabric/sweede doesn't look bad if done right IMO...its just not my thing lol but this explains why we have luxury cars right? we like to have nice interior. race cars are only fun when you want to race. not my kind of DD lol

oh so really sucks for me i still have no $$$ to get my ATLP exhaust and I'm pretty sure I'm just not going to be able to get one now

Uh...no ones getting ATLP Quads anymore.

http://www.acuratlparts.com/blog/?p=50

As of 2.09.09, no more ATLP Original Quads will be made.
Friday, February 13th, 2009
That’s right, we’re making the final batch of the Original Quad Exhausts. After a great year we’re holding to our word that this exhaust will be a limited batch. In total we produced around an odd 91 systems. This was one of our biggest projects when first started, and we can’t wait to bring new products to a new year!
