If im correct, they only make enough for the deposits they get. There is one for sale on the BM for $1100 i think. But he is not willing to ship.

It would fit length wise. But the opening on a TypeS is 10 inches, base is only 6-7 inches. So it wouldnt fit right.

The other day i snagged some ATLP Quad tips off the black market and today i emailed Mike from ATLP what my chances are of sending them to him and put on some Stromung mufflers. Hopefully i get good news soon...

Then all be that asshole with two ATLP Quad Set-ups

so in theory you could get it and either cut the opening alittle more or get a type s bumper? arent we all made of money? haha

Well...no.

The ATLP Quads only work on a TypeS bumper or a base bumper with cuts made and a typeS rear lip

The ATLP Base could work with type s bumper, but you would have a couple inches of gap on the sides of the tip.

bingo

your too good at guessing.
but few problems came up today...

Monday - put down $900 for enkei rpf1 18x8.5 but distributor closed

Tuesday - jj actually called in ame and confirm that 18x8.5 +40 and +45 is in stock and i can get it by next week. both offset clears the 4pot brembos

Today - went to speed to pay up the rest and jj shows me the pics of tracer tm-02

ame-wheels.com only used tracer name on the tm-02 and jj never thought i was talking about fs-01 when i said tracers. so called ame again and they only have +48 offset for the 18x8.5. they said it'll clear the brembos but not 100% sure and have to wait for this one guy to come back from lunch for the proper fitment. also only THREE wheels are in stock for this size/finish. no two but three wheels..

ame update

acutally 4 wheels are in stock
but not 100% positive about +48 offset
they'll fax in a template to check the caliper clearance

i'm pretty sure it'll not clear with +48 offset. even the aspecs (18x8.5 +45) barely clears calipers and i don't like using spacers. if it doesn't clear, i'll either go back to rpf1 or just stay with the aspecs and use that money for good vacation

man those look way hotter.. remind me of mine only in a hyperblack, cant tell if the lugs will be tuner style or regular.. its the only thing i hate about my rims is they are tuner and i bought the neochro R26g not knowing they dont fit =( so had to put them on the scion (wasted 200 bucks)

The TM-02's are awesome too. But i wouldnt want to be you trying to clean them. The spokes are not only split side to side, but front to back. This reduced alot of weight, but cleaning would be a real choir.

And i swear if they have the FS-01s in stock now, its probably my lost order!!!

but anyways... hard choice..

tm-02 looks nice too but i think i'll look dinky with the lips when i'm going with the 18s. although rpfs do have lips too but they look bigger like other wheels with no lips.

scotterson's tl with 18" rpf1s

will definitely get the fs-01 if template testing comes out positive
but otherwise i'll just back off from wheel buying untile something better comes out

Ah man....got some bad news today about my tips i picked up.

From AznBo187 of ATLP
Ah,

So you were the one that snagged them up.

Good thing it wasn't anyone else...who knows what kind of replica's would have came from it. Anyway, we actually do not make the mufflers anymore. This batch was the last batch, and they only make enough mufflers for the batch. The end cap used is a special end cap so once they are done with that run, they go onto a different setup.

Sorry I can't be of more assistance. You may have better luck mounting it maybe on some generic mufflers. Try Vibrant, they have a similar looking can.

Hope this helps,

Thanks,

Michael Yu
ATLP

So now im hoping i can get a template/measurments from him so im not going into a exhaust shop blind.
