Ive had a rim repaired there. The crack that was fixed was welded but nothing was done to make the weld flush, and the "Slime" that i used (i know that shits horrible but i needed a quick fix) was not washed off the tire or wheel, and the tire got mounted back onto the wheel even though i said not to remount. I didnt find all this out untill the wheels had been sitting for about a month when i got them powder coated.

Of course...it wasnt thier fault some how.

What wheels you getting?

Looks like google backed out of the ad deal with yahoo. Department of Justice was giving them to hard of a time. Would have been sweet to have our adwords show up on Yahoo searches as well! Would have made me look better around here when I pull stats lol.

Those are nice and Enkie makes quality wheels. What size/offset you going with?

Do you have the spare on the front or the rear?

Curious about this too. I think I've seen your TL-S around Hillsboro. I thought you were dropped, but I don't see it in your sig.

They are 18s, sorry, I dont remember the offset. I'm not dropped, I have springs but I think I'm just going to wait to get full coilovers. I'm in beaverton but I rarely head out towards hillsboro.

Ah, so you shouldn't have any problems rubbing, unless you're running a really low offset < 40 or so. Hopefully you won't rub when you get the coilovers or you'll have to trim bumper tabs or roll your fenders.

The SSM 2nd Gen I saw a few months ago was dropped, had a kit, and had gunmetal rims. Looked pretty sweet, but he/she was driving like a grandma

Ive got the same issue with my wheels. I actually picked up a wheel cleaning kit at Harbor Frieght that has two basically micro-fiber towels on a stick. Gets wheels super clean without worrying about scratching the wheels

Best part...was only like 5$

No, chrome is fine, if it quit working it may be some sort of application running on your end, or if you updated the update may be the issue. I'm running it here at work no problem but I rarely use it other than for cross browser testing. Google has been having alot of issues with gmail as of recent to with service outages that can last for days and any email sent in that downtime is not ever received. Growing pains I suppose....

Sheesh, I haven't washed my car in two weeks! Vacuumed the interior (stupid leaves) a couple of times, but no sense in washing when it's been raining so much.

ugh i hate the max with a passion too...but my work pays for my pass --- and thats a lot cheaper than a few hundred a month for parking + i'd have to pay gas...

i really wanna get a car pool card - then parking is only $55 a month for street parking (in the designated areas) but i have to have someone apply with me at the city and prove they work down town and i know no one

My work has a pass for 20$ per year, but when i mapped it out...it would take close to 3 hours to get from Wilsonville to Hillsboro.....F a bunch of that.

Wake up earlier to get to work later is for the birds.

My company pays for a TriMet pass too, but I would never take the bus from Hillsboro to Portland. They subsidize my parking instead - in a nice underground parking garage. I only pay $30 a month - a rate that hasn't gone up in the 15 years I've been here.

I have a suga mama but she does not support my car habits. I have the best parking spot, right in front of my work window. I can stare at who comes and goes next to it. I actually had some dude try to squeeze in the spot in front of me, hit me, then drove off. But since my window was there I got the plates and ended up with $500 in my pocket for a few scratches.

A quick anouncement

So when I was at Panda Express with Kyle a while back he asked me what JDMLove was in my signature. Flattered that someone actually paid attention to my signature I went on to tell him that it's a "blog" site I'm building. Anyways I am now starting to add content and am looking to recruit authors.

The goal of the site is to be a difinitive place to hear about the latest parts, trends, etc... involving japanese auto's. The goal is to have authors that really know their stuff from honda, toyota, nissan, mazda, suby, and mitsu post reviews, diy's, thoughts, ideas, etc....

On top of that there is a sponsor spot where I'd hope to have some shops and/or forums have their ads, it'd be 100% free for them to be there and I'd provide analytics for how many people go from jdmlove to their site. It gives them extra visbility and makes my site appear to be more legit and get more traffic.

Anyways, I have started writing actual content for this now and I am setting a few extra people as authors. Anyways if you want to be an author let me know, the more the merrier, people just need to stay on topic at all costs, so no chit chat, no stupid posts, etc.. (not saying we are stupid, you know, no typical forum flames).

If you know of a shop or something that'd be interested in being on the of first sponsors let me know! It'd be awesome to have them there.

URL: http://www.jdmlove.org

Take a look let me know what you think about the layout etc... Thanks for listening to my shameless advertising!

i hate when people do that.. no one ever wants to man up to the mistake instead they rather run off.. good thing you got there plates!!

another reason why i got the camera infront of my house.. already had to get my bumper repainted from someone trying to parrell park in front of my house
