i think its legal for trucks/suv/vans to have as dark as tint as they want for the rear/back windows just not the front driver side and pass. and as for cars it has to be no more than 35% all around and NO tint for front windshield.

That doesnt sound right at all IMO.
When i got nailed for tint nothing was said about my rear window.
Here is a pic from dead on rear, in the sun, no side window tint.
Also keep in mind those cars that have those full window covers (flags/camo/etc etc) that is done in a dot matrix. Those are not see through from the outside.

Damn, that is dark as fawk. I wish mine looked like that. But I'll still take not getting pulled over anyday. Hate coppers.. Most just waste their time on stupid shit and don't do their damn job. Just let us have dark windows damn it!!
And I agree, the flag/logo dot stuff is ridiculous but I've never heard of anyone getting pulled over for it even tho it's worse than a tint IMO.
I bet you're missing driving around in a car that nice Kyle.

and if i don't get out of tl in a month or two, it'll stay with me until it falls apart.
future plan for tl if it survives
- racingbrake 2piece front rotor
- racingbrake 300 pads
- base tails
- base bumper with base lip or typeS bumper with base lip
- 04/05/06 17" oem wheels for winter
- rpf1 19x8.5 in sbc finish for summer
- magnaflow mufflers (no quad. dual with some good looking tips that'll fill in typeS rear lip. too much quad setup these days)
bummer

So has anyone in the Clackamas County area had their car worked on at Pro-Tek? Just trying to find a good shop outside of the dealers.

If you drop the Type-S, I will hate you. That is my realistic dream car and will be the only car to replace mine now.

i really want g37x coupe but they are way too pricey. $45k new and with $3k incentive, it comes down to $41k. so probably i'll go with used fx35 and found one that i really like
'06 with 29,288 miles fully loaded with sport/prem/navi package
these 20s that comes with sport package is pretty massive and its gonna cost a fortune to replace the tires
http://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/ctd/1505408269.html
listed for $32883 so probably i can talk it down little more.

I love the sound of the FX35s
Would be a real nice pick up.
My only problem with them is they are a Infiniti, and they all come with the boring orange/red gauges.

i think this will be a good pick up too. resale value on infinitis are really low these days while resale value on my tl jumped up recently making a sweeter deal.
most i hate about is the orange guage too. orange ugly guages on $40~50k cars are plus the cheaper feeling interior panel materials

thats a nice TL but im a sucker for carbon grey colors =)
you good at soldering MIN? you can always order new lights for the dash and just redo them in the colors you want.. and i also thought i read that too about the exhaust being interchangeable.. sounds like a win win for that vehicle.. only prob is its uber heavy.. i like it though for the fact you can still take it up to the mountain
