We have a Ps3 and a Wii, the PS3 is used far more since its a media server, blu-ray player AND video game console.

Well guys....the TL is no longer mine.
Ended up getting $11,577 on trade for it. (almost $600 over blue book)
On top of my car I paid $2500 OTD for a 2005 Ford F150 4dr 4x4.
TL was a great car, was sad to let it go.
Ill get some pics of it up soon. Too cold outside.

All in all im very happy with the truck. Cant wait to drive it some more tomorrow....Although gas tank is HUGE...think its 25 gallon tank
And even though ive only had it since 3:00pm...ive already done a mod to it.... De-Pin striped it.

Well when i went in to talk to them on sunday, i was first offered 9k. Said if thats all i was gonna get ill just take my time and sell it private party. So they came back with 10k for the TL. At the end of the night we couldnt agree on a number. So when i came back today i instantly got a offer for 11k. Which i was cool with...but the guy working with me kept getting me more and more, untill we ended on $11,577. Im not complaining, thats only $1500, less than i would have listed it for private if i was to do that.
All in all im very happy with the truck. Cant wait to drive it some more tomorrow....Although gas tank is HUGE...think its 25 gallon tank

And that's pretty big tank but it still doesn't compare to my parent's hibernating '94 Suburban with a 42 gallon tank!!
They stopped using it when it started to be about $100 a fill-up from about 1/8 tank. That's just ridiculous. Even more so when they realized that even though they could get ~600 miles per tank, it was still getting only 14-15 mpg
Hopefully yours will do better than that 
Good call on de-pin striping it...that's always looked hella tacky to me...

Ouch that is a huge tank. I was just above E last night and it was $66 to fill. So when i think about it...the TL had a 13 gallon tank and cost just around $40 to fill with premium. So i guess its all evened out. As for MPG, so far im seeing an average of 20-22mpg on the highway. New air filter/intake+exhaust will add a few more MPG's as i go.
Anyways, here are some photos from the dealership.
(Not sure what the mark is on tail gate...must have been bird shit)
As you can see, the pin stripe was badddd. Two black lines with a chrome line in the middle. Thanks god for heat gun + razor blade.
So, as of now the only things done to it are
-Tint
-Line X Bed liner
-Put my ScangaugeII in it.

somehow i never thought it'd be a 4door crew cab. nice truck
now you should keep that truck until it falls apart. always nice to have at least one truck for home depot hauling.
and get a reflash along with the intake. unlike our v6 those v8 will see huge gains.

Ah damn, i could have gotten you 100$ with a referall. Oh well.

Although from what ive read on the forums, Intake, Exhaust, and Reflash will give my 4.6L the same power as a 5.4, but with better gas mileage. Not bad for a nice 30+hp bump.
Anyone go driving last night? I was out in Brush Prairie, WA. untill 1am last night. The back road that my buddy lives on was nice and iced over, but once i hit main roads it was fine. Then once I got back to my street, it was iced over too.
Nice heavy truck sure does make it nice when dealing with ice. Now all i need is some good AT tires and ill be running to Hood.

If I had a 3G, I'd take it. It's the Type-S one right? I like the Type-S A-Spec front lip..makes the car look angry But the original is OG and looks a little better.
The only people on this thread with 3Gs have no need for it..as far as I know so sell it to NYC guy.

my master plan was to buy cheap honda element for around $10k and trade in my tl. and maybe a year or two later buy a g37x coupe either new if its on a clearance or used. but low mileage element for around $10k is really hard to find and the one i found was sold already when i stopped by the dealer last thursday (it was '05 element ex awd with 91k miles for $10995).

Yea ill be doing that when i head up to the mountains.
As for the other night, as soon as the back end would start to step out id easy out of the throttle and the truck would collect itself.
Been on the hunt for some meaty tires though. Gonna cost me about what i paid for the Toyo Proxes 4's

got pulled over this morning on my way to work. it was like half a mile after leaving my gf's house wtf. i was waiting for traffic to clear to to turn left onto brookwood and he was coming towards me, i made the left and he busted a u-turn, i was liek fawwwk. it was for my tint, 12% he measured, lol. let me go with a warning which was cool but i didn't have a current insurance car with me so he gave me a fix it ticket for that. which all in all was pretty cool of him... sucks though that i have to take time off work to go show the court my card.
i'd hate to have to peel off my tint... i hate driving without it. gotta schedule appt to have my front windows and back windshield done....
p.s. this was in hillsboro.

I guess I should leave mine the way it is then. I'm kinda disappointed it's so light looking from behind the car but I know it's just because of the clear windshield. My doors look dark as hell from the side of the car and look darker cuz of the black interior and tint on opposite window and I kinda wish the rear would look the same. But I'd rather not get pulled over...

Is there a law ive never heard of that requires you to only have 35% tint on the rear window? Mine was 10-15 percent.
And if it is a law, how can trucks run campers/cargo boxes that cover the back window?
