While doing some TLC, I found out that QT broke some of my plastic clips that goes under the bumper and splash guard. Now I gotta buy a few from the dealer

Plus they broke all the plastic brackets that hold down both the power window switches from the inside of the door panel

Other than that, the car came out really nice

 

Your not gonna hassle them on it? The plastic bumper clips are pretty easy to break.
Lowes has clips that are close to ours, try those. If not, then I would buy some on ebay or have the dealer price match curry acura. I never pay full price at the dealer anymore for parts.

Whenever I see that, it makes me think that the person working on my car didnt treat it with too much respect. No one treats your car as good as yourself.

 

I need my bumper aligned. who wants to do I dont have time LOL

 

I dont mind the plastic clips, I can always replace them. But its the brackets that hold down the power window switch on both side that piss me off! I though about what you said Gary and hussle their asses! But I said fuk it! If I took it back, they probably gonna fuk it up more. Plus the switches aint poppin out or jiggling loose.

And its true that no one other than yourself will take good care of your car.

 

If ur not happy with the product take it back until it's corrected

 

It turn out very good. Just what I wanted to look like. Oh well at lease I got my car back (took 2 months longer than expected). That's all that matters.

Good ass paint job...



even though they took a while they do some good ass work IMO on all the cars they have done I know about 10 ppl that went to them already

 

I ask if the guy can include my lip kit with the paint job, he said he'll have to charge me extra for the lip. So I said nah, I'm already broke, just paint the front. Whenever I can save more I'll paint the lip.

 

Yea its a clean ass paint job. Kevin, you have more experience with them but this is my first time. I'll still say they did a clean ass work! I always love the front of the 02-03 TL but I wanted a 2 door. Now I can have a little of both

Prices are good too, better then TNT

 

I've had 2-3 people end up not liking how there TNT paint job came out

 

not bump an old topic but QT is taking hella long to repaint my front bumper and front lip, $%^&!!&. 6 days and counting. I haven't seen my car in almost a week. lol

 

Repainting shouldn't take that long. Go check it out. I went there three times to see whats up with the progress.

^ yea, i talked to nemo yesterday afternoon and they were just starting to sand and primer my bumper. I hope they finish by tomorrow, I don't want to have to wait until tuesday to pick up my car.

 

thats the only bad thing they have to many damn cars and not enough people.

When I went to TNT, all they have is G35s and a few bimmers so sad

 

dropped by qt today, car still isn't ready, will probably be ready by monday. While I was there, another guy dropped in to complain about his car taking too long. lol Qt is a cool shop and quality work but damn they take a long time.

Kevin, I think there are more people working there. I see like two other OG's in there all the time.

 

Nah the OGs dont work there. I see them every time I stop by. I think they are homies with Quan the boss man.

Theres like 5 people there but only 3 of the actually work there lol. The rest just like to come and fuk around at the shop.

i did get my car back yesterday, the bumper and lip looks great but the color is off by a lot, it's a lot lighter than the rest of my car. :/. I'm not sure if it's my car's red paint or they didn't do a good job paint matching. I might have Qt do a full repaint soon.

 

well your car is 9-10 years old with normal paint job right? so for those 9-10 years your car has been sitting in the sun various car washes ETC ETC.

thats why it sucks just to get a piece painted because it makes the car look off esp if its an older car.

 

yea, that's a good point kevin. Imma do a full clay/polish/wax detail this weekend to see if i can brighten my paint up. I'll post pics after.

Anyone ever use those clear flim strip on the bumper to protect it from rock chip? I dont want my bumper to get all fuk up by rock chips cuz my paint job is still clean.
