clear bra is good for protection but expensive! most people want to do the whole front end(up to end of fenders but it cost like a grand) so they end up just with the first half which is usually like 4-600...

 

Wat?! I thought it was already pre made to fit the front end? You have to go to a tint shop to have it put on? Damn to much work. And plus it cost hella lot

You can get a clear bra cut out for the TL but yes, it is pretty expensive.

rims were never found =[. got a few hits from other forums but serial numbers did not match up and those wheels were in much worse shape than mine. It's a pretty rare model/size/offset/color combo so i'm still keeping an eye out even til this day.

I did get money from insurance but not enough to cover the total loss and plus i had a $500 deductible so i took a pretty big hit.

Anyways, enough about the past, I might make it out to lolicup this Sunday.. we shall see. who else is goin?

Third time. When I was doing my front end swap, I park it in the garage for about 3 month without drivin or startin it and I decided to unplug the battery to see it the SRS light would die. It did but last weekend it came back on. So now gonna drop that sucker at the dealer and hopefully they wont hussle me again on buying two new back seat cover cuz both of the lower plastic clips broke off from both of the seats and last time they said it might be effecting the SRS unit. One cover cost 300+! fuk that shit!

 

just got back from Acura about my SRS light. The guy said my car is out of warranty it I will cost me 190 for the diagnostic and extra for parts.

wtf!? last time i went it was 130 for diagnostic and was it lifetime warranty or 150,000 on the SRS(I forgot)? Mine only have 97,000. The last two times I went in for the SRS, I didn't paid jack.

The service guys said if its the belt buckle or the belt clip then its cover under warranty. If its something else then I'll have to loose money.

I'm looking at my last two invoice and both said its the OPDS sensor and are cover under warranty. But the guys bought up the "out of warranty shit" and that I have to cough up at lease 200. So I said fuck that! Came back home.

Any of you guys who took theirs in for the SRS came out different other thand the OPDS unit? I'm guessing it has to be the OPDS since it crap out twice already. But just want to make sure. dont want to wait an one and a half hour and have the bill brought up to me.

 

Call Acura corp about it.

I just called Toyota corp about my seat belts not retracting in my wife's corolla and tehre suppose to have the dealer contact me now.

When I took the TL in my SRS light came on and it was my buckles all 4 of them and I had no airbags so I had a loaner for a week. I have a good relationship with EG Acura as well so they took care of me. I have a feeling that if its ur SRS light its your buckles something that should be looked into.

Call Acura Corporate and tell them your issue.

 

The SRS light in our 03 CL-S is on, when they inspected it they said it was because of the passenger seat belt.

 

Yea, that happened to me. Now the driver's side is acting up.
