haha you can meet me at the mcdonalds lol and ill show you where.

My proceedure is 60-10mph hard stops about 6-8 times. You'll start smelling the brakes smoke, rotors will turn blue/pruple and your pedal will turn to mush.

I think I'm staying over...but I haven't booked a room yet.

I have to be in Sunnyvale @ 11 am or something for a family reunion.

I'd rather mash in the morning straight there then rick coming back at night tired as fvck!

That's what happened last year...I almost passed out like 4 times.

junho, you ever think about trying to paint it yourself? not too much surface area on the mugen grill, and silver is one of the easier colors to paint match. save you at least $80.

never even tought about that. not sure i trust myself enough to do it myself, especially on a $300 grill. don't i need equipment and stuff too?

is $100 reasonable for a mugen grill? i never had anything painted but it seems like a lot to me. i know heeltoe charges 120 to have it painted, so maybe around 100 isn't that bad? like you said, there isn't much surface area on the mugen grill.

Kevin you looking for wheels? i got a set of 06 tsx stockies if you are interested. i'm sure we can work out something reasonable on the price if you are interested. i'm still not sure if i want to sell them or not, but let me know if you want to buy them.

If its just the grill, then paint it yourself kev.

I love to paint my own stuff. Its not very hard if you take your time and do all the right steps.

you can definitely do it yourself. painting is 90% prep/patience. you will only need some basic supplies and sandpaper. if you want matched ASM (i think that's the 06-08 silver) there are many paint shops that will mix up aerosol cans for you ($10-15 per can or so) or there are websites that will do the same and ship it to you.

in my experience, $100 isn't so bad for a shop to paint the grill. i think the biggest thing is the shop is mixing up such a small batch of paint only for your grill. you know, like if you were getting skirts/lips painted at the same time it would be a better deal for the shop.

i'm the one who needs the grill painted. kevin is getting his whole bumper painted.

maybe i'll have to do some research to see if i'm going to want to paint the grill myself.
