How is that being a dick? $3000 does seem a bit high for painted headlights with halos... maybe if he had some custom fit projectors with a retrofit... then I could see $3000 as I have seen how much that adds up.
And when did I say that I didn't like it? I told him on facebook that i think black looks better on a white car IMO but i never said i didn't like it. Looks better than stock by far.

I don't know what the hell i did to deserve anything you just said, but i really think you should take a step back and take a look at what you're writing. I am never rude or mean to ANYONE on here or anywhere, and all the guys on here that i hang out with and associate with can attest to that (matt, jorge, etc).
For the record, i remember hearing Travis talk about those headlights on MNSC saying he bought them from guy and saying that they were one of a kind or something along those lines. If thats true, then i very much doubt he spend 'hundreds of hours' and 'years' working on it (especially when he really just started modding it about a year and a half ago. I was at that meet at Jorge's house, remember?)

Its 5 years old with 61,000 miles on it. I'd hardly call that some $50,000 brand spanking new car that my dad just handed to me and i run around beating the shit out of it all day, smoke weed, and sleep until noon.
No, i work EVERY day doing multiple jobs, making my OWN money and buying my OWN things. Detail cars, yard work, and painting. I never get a cent from my dad and if i do, it's on christmas or my birthday.
I'd say i take offense to the things you just said, but honestly, i could give a shit less. In fact, i'm not even going to bother talking to you as tonight you brought out your true colors. More than likely he is just trying to get you going and you are responding with long posts and being defensive which is the whole point. The best thing you can do is take all online post whether it is here or elsewhere on the web with a grain of salt and not let it bother you. For example last week or so Josh criticized one of my posts for lacking punctuation and I responded that I would endeavor to do better next time. I could have gotten mad or defensive and told Josh to F’ off and go bother someone who really doesn’t use any punctuation on Azine but I didn’t. I have met most of the guys that post on this thread a couple of times and I like everyone I’ve met, including Josh, and with that being said if Jorge or Brian called me a dick, asshole or worse I wouldn’t let that bother me. Because as much as I like getting together and hanging out with everyone on this thread you guys are not in my inner circle of friends or family and thus calling me a name or bashing me on the internet would have little impact on my actual life.

The thing about posting on forums or any other means of online interaction with others is that you can not tell what people mean or how they mean to say it by just reading. It's the same as text messaging, My girl has gotten plenty pissed at me for a text message i sent that she took one way and i meant it another way. Phantom is right, don't let it bother you so much. Also, we are all online, once in a while friends. Until you spend time with people and bring them into you "inner circle" what we say or think of you or anyone for that matter isn't a big deal. Matt's car is coming along great. Paint is really coming along great for a car with 166k miles and being 11 years old. Like a mirror again.
Lots of scratches are out and the swirls are gone.

I have got to read up on what is happening with you all. I have been busy with coaching Baseball and on the 9th I had orthoscopic Knee surgery so I am still recovering.
How many of us are going to the honda meet on the 31st and how many are going to the MSC meet on the same day. I think we should all go together to one or the other.

I had the highway to myself on the way home from work tonight and I just went flatout from the entrance ramp... I was so surprised at how well it pulled, all the way through 140 was so smooth.. It felt like it woulda kept going too but I had to slow down for a turn that I was coming up to

First of all - 19 DAYS TILL THE PIGSKIN FLYS AGAIN!!!
I know, I know. Been a doucher this summer. When's the next meet? I've been lurking behind the scenes and haven't really been up to much lately (except for all the times that I have been)
Got pulled over on 169 on my way to Milaca for work (Fairview), got a warning
Wifey lost her job last Thursday. I guess I can't be surprised.... she did sell construction materials to places like Home Depot and Sela. Just never really expect it to happen when it does.
I discovered "the clay bar" about a month ago. 2 days later, I drove for 3 hours to a cabin. I still have bugs in cracks I didn't even know existed.
Speaking of lights - mine were having issues with fogging up again, so I removed them and resealed them. Probably not the right way, but they don't leak so I won't worry about it (no oven, just siliconed the edges). Probably not as fancy as some of your "paint and halo" variety. lol
Went camping last weekend too. Came home Saturday night after mother nature showed me what she had. Bitch. My screened canopy > 2 broken legs > airborn > soft landing on my tent > all poles broken > flat tent > went home. BTW - That nice "tub design" on the base of tents; Works well from the outside AND the inside!

I discovered "the clay bar" about a month ago. 2 days later, I drove for 3 hours to a cabin. I still have bugs in cracks I didn't even know existed.
Speaking of lights - mine were having issues with fogging up again, so I removed them and resealed them. Probably not the right way, but they don't leak so I won't worry about it (no oven, just siliconed the edges). Probably not as fancy as some of your "paint and halo" variety. lol
Went camping last weekend too. Came home Saturday night after mother nature showed me what she had. Bitch. My screened canopy > 2 broken legs > airborn > soft landing on my tent > all poles broken > flat tent > went home. BTW - That nice "tub design" on the base of tents; Works well from the outside AND the inside!
OK. That about sums up my summer. Oh.. and while I'm thinking about it. Hannibal Means from America's Got Talent scares the hell out of me.

Well I won't be able to make any meets for the next couple of weeks as I'll be out of the country from July 24th to August 10th. The trip is my 30th birthday present I got for myself so I hope all goes well. I might be able to post while I am gone as I am taking my iPad so I'll just have to find a WiFi spot or use some of my 3G data.

I have got to read up on what is happening with you all. I have been busy with coaching Baseball and on the 9th I had orthoscopic Knee surgery so I am still recovering. How many of us are going to the honda meet on the 31st and how many are going to the MSC meet on the same day. I think we should all go together to one or the other.

Damn, doesn't look like I'll be able to make it. I have my gf's family reunion up in Ely. If you guys decide to make it to the fall MNSC meet I'll be sure to make it to that one.
