I just talked to Jorge, he's out driving a Type-S now. Looks like the old girl has a date with the crusher. Now to see if he can get all of his upgrades off of it before they turn it into beer cans that Glow drinks from this winter.

Looks as if I purchased the family truckster just in time, my wife seems to be going into labor!

If your salesman is John Wienland we could see if Luther Dealers honor their $100 referral promotion on the back of their business cards.

Hey Josh congrats on the baby. Looks like you got the wagon just in time. Jorge is the type S the one down in Georgia not the one at White Bear. You will have to let me know when you pick it up and we can start getting to work on putting your old parts back on this one.

This is the only picture I have hosted right now, the rest are on phones and what-not. This was taken literally minutes after he was born.

I have a great one of him flipping the bird with his hat all down low Jesse James style.

Thanks. So far this kid thing is way harder than I was expecting.

I expected hard, but this is surreal. No sleep and always working.

Murderwagon got the tints yesterday, but it's not as dark as I was hoping. Even though I got the same % for the Subaru and the BMW, the Subaru was MUCH darker. So odd...

Who did the Murderwagon's tint? What tint percentage did you go with? I contacted Chris Welckle on Monday in regards to tinting my Jeep Liberty. He wanted me to inform you that he is out of training and available for work.

I received a couple of recommendations for a company called "Tint Pros Mobile" and they came and did the tint in my garage. Price was right and they did a good job.

I did 35% front and 20% rear, the same as in the Scoob, but it is nowhere near as dark as the Scoob was.

Getting the wheels powdercoated tomorrow, should make the car look a WHOLE LOT better. Jorge and I took some time to really do a deep clean on the wheels and the existing paint is really shitty, so this should make them look a hell of a lot better.

This place is giving me a pretty good price and from the work I have seen, they do a great job. If you need anything coated, be it color or ceramic, they can take care of it and for a good price.

What are they charging you? I might do that to my wheels. The guy who owned it before me did alot of curb checking.

$60-65 per wheel, depending on how thick the paint is. I don't think that they would fix curb rash, but you could do it pretty well once the tires are off.

That's the kicker, you have to strip the wheels for them, meaning you have to have a spare set of wheels.

I got the shop to take before and after images for me, so I will be able to post up the difference when it's all done.

My biggest worry now is that the wheels will be so shiny that the paint will look dull in comparison.

Ya, I dont have an extra set of wheels. I was thinking of taking off my wheels one weekend and sanding them down then painting them black. That should hide the gouges...lol

I don't have a second set of wheels yet either, but I borrowed a set from a guy on MNAutoX. I'm sure there is someone on here that has a spare set of wheels sitting around doing nothing that you could borrow for a week...

How long is it going to take to get your wheels back?
