but thanks, and yeah, one of these days i will get some tire stuff, i went to the other day. which reminds me of the whoel story..
so i got the rims on, and noticed service engine light, checked, had zero oil. last oil change was 2500 miles ago, and i had like no oil at all, nothing on the stick when i cleaned and dipped it. so i ran over to napa, thinking i'll get oil- needed, and tire shine- kind of needed..
i get there at 7:55 or so.. the guy won't let me in, says their closed.. close at 8. i tell him through the door i need oil or my engine would blow up, he said can't help you we're closed. i just about kicked through the glass door i was so mad.. oh, it wasn't because that that really made me mad, what did it was when an hour later i drove by, and he as well as 6 other napa employees were outside and smoking, they hadn't even left.

Hey slepy you can get high quality oil at walmart or fleet farm cheaper than napa. I always check my oil when I fill up my gas tank.

 

i ended up putting in some valveoline.. though the service engine light is still on, and theres a loudish whine coming from what sounds like underneath

You have a loud whine after starving on oil? You might want to get that professionally checked out. Oil is the blood of a car... probably the most important part of maintenance .

Hey josh - any new news on the car?

 

They called today to ask me what type of brake fluid I had in the car, so I guess they are working on putting it back together. I am expecting to get it back at the end of next week.

Last time I saw it, they had cut everything with a bend in it off of the car and started welding new stuff on in place. I dropped off my new sway the other day, they are going to install it for me since they have the whole car disassembled. It should be all set when I get it back, ready for some track action.

 

What do you want to do at my house? The pool and hot tub don't open for a another week or so. Besides, you coming over has usually been more about you showing up than me not letting you in the door.
