Oh deer!

Glad you and the NSX are alright

Too bad noone cares about the killed animals. Not surprising tho. I even see people run over geese on purpose cause they are too impatient to let them cross road.

Of course I care about the animals. I don't wish death on anyone or anything.

BUT I'm glad the deer's life was taken instead of his or the woman in the VW.

Also I have 4 good year eagle F1 tires 235/45ZR17 94W. I have a friend that works at NTB and a customer came in wanting to get different tires (the F1s were the ones they had on the car). The customer said nothing was wrong just wanted different tires and the NTB staff couldn't find anything wrong with the tires either so they called me and I picked them up. I haven't used them and I no longer have stock wheels for my car so they are just taking up space in my garage. I figure worst case someone can use these as a set of burn out tires.

ANYONE WHO WANTS TO GO TO OKLAHOMA JOE'S SATURDAY PLEASE SPEAK UP!

I was thinking about going at 12 or 1 depending on what works better for people. Right now I know civic, gr8ness(I think), Swilliep, and maybe some of the other local guys will be going.

I was there, as was my car, I just wasnt standing by it the whole meet, lol.

To Steven, or Buda, Im registered and I'll be there but I have no interest in being judged. My car isnt anything to look at it, it's fairly stock and it isnt even an Acura, lol. Do I still need a mod sheet?

Guys, just a suggestion here, since I'll be on the radio all day Saturday afternoon and can't meet you for lunch.....

Since we are going to Oklahoma Joe's on Friday night, maybe switch things up on Saturday and try Jack Stack BBQ instead of going to Oklahoma Joe's twice within 12 hours????

St. Louis Crew... "redbird and others"

Chitown crew is driving thru the south. so we will hit STL... I am not going to risk taking Iowa and get pulled over or harrassed. Last year and other years we took STL route and nvr got harrassed... Time difference is 30minutes. With our driving it should even matter....

So PM me with ideas on how we can meet up. I leave chicago at 2:15am...

sorry for thread hijack. but i'd like to let you all know what our plans are...

Please still put up a sheet with your Car Info and name on it. Also put a note on the sheet that the car is not to be judged.

i believe mod sheet should only be for people who are in the competition....others can just interact and know the mods...hell "5mm off the door lock" cant be understood by anyone....interaction is the key....i can post a mod sheet here and see pix of the car here as well....not ranting....just my

I can print out a mod sheet. I dont have a problem doing that. That way, if people see it and wanna know what's done, they can. I just have no interest in entering the judging contest. I entered last year for best tint and I think best wheels but when I got there and saw the competition, I knew I had no chance. I expect this year to be the same.
If people wanna look at my car and know the mods, I can do that. But the only one putting any votes in for it would be me, lol, so I dont see the point in judging.

What's so complicated? Print or write out a paper with the car information and your name/handle (if you want) as to courtesy for other attendees and a simple note like "Don't Judge car" to let the judges know that the car can be skipped. Also if the car is mostly/all stock then they could still be judged for best stock presentation.

It's a bigger task than you think for the judges trying to keep track of cars to judge. Last year we had people leaving and coming back as well as changing spots on the lot. This created a nightmare to ensure all cars got judged. If his car doesn't have a note on it to not judge it, then it will get judged.

You can handle registration and judging next year if you want. For the last 3 years I've gotten to spend about 5 minutes actually looking at cars and talking to people at the meet. I'm hoping the changes we made this weekend are going to make it so I have some more time to be out and about.

^^^ Sean that has been your choice...in all honestly, if i were you and as i advised you, i would just handle registrations and let the judges handle the judging....why are you getting in the middle if you dont like it....i would rather have you outside meeting people (cough like Steven Bell cough).....he organizes everything but makes sure he is outside meeting people....

about judging, cars with a NUMBER on them were judged last year....there were multiple cars which didn't have a number on them but randomly decided "ohhh am in the competition as well"....

my advice to you would be:

1> Mod sheet MANDATORY for people in competition
2> NAME/ScreenName MANDATORY FOR ALL
3> CARS in COMPETITION will have a number assigned to them

do the registration and come out to enjoy the meet....and dude you car is pristine, if you are not in the judging you can participate too....

and f*ck no, you can do the registrations and all....am in it to have fun and meet people who i interact with all year long....you have been doing a great bloody job for me to ask you to step aside....

Most hotels won't let you check in until 2PM. What is your timeline in getting to STL? It'll take me at least 8 hours to get to STL from Knoxville so I'll need to know when to leave Saturday morning.

Oh, I'll definitely have fun. And Im all about having fun.

I've got a mod sheet printed out. It's not exactly to the specs listed but it's all there.

I think everyone should have a mod sheet, regardless. If you wanna be judged, have a number on your car. Simplest way. But Im not gonna tell anyone what to do or stir any shit up.

I just know that I thought I had a chance winning something last year but I think most everyone, judges included, were there to see Acuras; not my stock-ish Honda, lol. Although that Scion winning damn near every category makes me think otherwise.

Hey, who hopes that guy shows up again this year....?

LOL!
