All i remember now is Hwy 70 mile marker 165 i think... thats how we were communicating on walkie and with St louis crew who were ahead of us. we were still in Missouri... 
we were flying thru traffic. and overall we were being tracked for 30 miles thats what the officer told my guys... One pick up truck followed my guy to the gas station and told him we needed a Police Scanner because People on the road were on there cell phones making phone calls and complaining... I think he had a police scanner to know what the hell was going on...
I think the police were setting up traps for us but they were to far for us lol... and the only reason they caught us was bc we were in single file exiting to the gas station and cop was on the opposite traffic and did a uturn and sped up to us lol...
Overall though we had a blast... No complaints. My guys were good sports about the whole situation. And that made me happy

Sounds like a nice event. Hats off to everyone that made it happen. I know it probably takes a lot of effort to put something like this together.

imho why dont the regional mods get togetheir to vote for nxt years national meet's location in a diffrent location that way everyone can enjoy this function ?the drive is way to far for most members ,i belong to acuralegend.org and the mod heads get togetheir to vote on the best site for the national meet so that way everyone can enjoy the function rather than just the same location every year jst a thought .but i enjoyed the pics and reading up to the last post wish i was there

This is covered over and over each year. It's in the MIDDLE of the country. How is that not fair? Of course it'll be far for the people in the corner states but it's fair for everyone else.
Cars are meant to be driven, so drive yours to the meet. I drove 1082 miles one way last year from Raleigh, NC to Kansas City. The only reason why I didn't go this year is because of summer classes. I plan on attending next summer as well.
If you want to attend that badly, you can.

I drove over 1100 miles each way this year in the most uncomfortable seat I've sat in in years to go to this meet. I missed it last year, I promised myself Id make it this year. I had fun, and Ill be driving the 1100 miles each way next year as well.
