At least one pic of my car was taken, lol. Thanks tyler.

Had a good time albeit short. I would've liked to have stayed longer but I had alot to do.

Who was #18? I saw the KS plate so I assume they're local. Loved that car. Loved all the cars. That one was just my favorite.

...or larger????

Dude-I would have been ecstatic for a $500 Best In Show prize. But $1,000 is HUGE! This is the commitment Jay Wolfe Acura makes for this event! Plus, they clear off their entire lot so we can have this event at their dealership. Then, they cook burgers, brats and hotdogs. They also supply chips and drinks for everyone....FREE!

Then they spend hundreds of dollars on trophys and plaques. Let alone the money they spend for the sound system, lanyards with everyone's name on them. Then the man hours devoted to the event and the employees that give up their only day off to be at the event to represent the dealership and help out.

Hell, last year, they gave away a new iPad. The $1,000 Best of Show prize absolutely blew me away this year. That is above and beyond the call of duty.

Jay Wolfe Acura in Kansas City voluntarily do all this so Acurazine member can have fun for the weekend and the day-of!

We couldn't have this kind of an event without their commitment to the cause!

I also want to say a special thanks to Buda (Sean). He heads up all of the judging and vote tallying. It's a huge job and Sean makes this event run smoothly every year. So much work goes into this and Buda makes this happen!

Looks like everything has dried up and/or drained away. Its really dirty looking on the streets and parking lots with alot of debris. Not Pensacola's finer moments.

Whats up guys,

First of all, proud to say NO TICKETS THIS YEAR!!!!

That aside, my fiance and had a BLAST thanks to everyone to put in all the hard work to make this happen once again this year! I am already looking forward to next year. Especially with the new wheels I just ordered

So I took a bunch of pictures documenting my entire trip down and back from CO. Below are some of my favorites, here is a link to all the ones I took on the trip http://photobucket.com/DEazine2012

Colorado's tint law given to me by a state trooper on the side of the highway 20 minutes into our trip

Red text should have been on the larger part cause yes $1000 is awesome and the dealer definitely deserves a huge thanks for offering that as hardly any car events offer more than $200 anymore almost it seems if even that. That prize however would unfortunately only cover the gas it would take me to trailer the car there and back when only being able to achieve 6-8mph while towing. Depending on the list next year though it could be tempting.

Great meeting you guys for sure! And glad to hear everybody made it back OK. It was worth the trip...planning on trekking out next year. 9 hr drive back across KS & 1/3 of CO wasn't so awesome though :bleh: Absolutely ZERO scenery lol! KC bbq was definitely a redeeming factor, OK Joe's & Jack's Stack are both ridiculous. Worth the hype.

By the way, anybody have any more pics of my ride? Just curious. Tyler, those rolling shots are SICK!

I'll have something new on there this week that will be worth showing off too... So pics of the new mod(s) will come later this week as well.

If any of you guys pick up any Bullet Polish products, let me know what ya think!

Time to do laundry hahaha!!

9 hours? I made it in 7:44 there and 7:37 back. But I am way closer to I-70, only stopped twice each way for gas, and have a lead foot

Glad you and your Dad made it back safe! I'll be ordering up some Bullet products soon

In all honesty i was happy with the trophy and all the praises from all of my azine family and friends. It was a great feeling getting that award. now 1000 dollars is icing on the cake. overall like Steve says 500 woould have been awesome. or a simple gift card like the one steve and buda gave for road warrior would be awesome too lol...

So no complaints coming from me. or my team. in the end going back home we had a 12 hour drive none stop. we had some hiccups and car trouble. no regrets though... everyone is happy...

All i remember now is Hwy 70 mile marker 165 i think... thats how we were communicating on walkie and with St louis crew who were ahead of us. we were still in Missouri...

we were flying thru traffic. and overall we were being tracked for 30 miles thats what the officer told my guys... One pick up truck followed my guy to the gas station and told him we needed a Police Scanner because People on the road were on there cell phones making phone calls and complaining... I think he had a police scanner to know what the hell was going on...

I think the police were setting up traps for us but they were to far for us lol... and the only reason they caught us was bc we were in single file exiting to the gas station and cop was on the opposite traffic and did a uturn and sped up to us lol...

Overall though we had a blast... No complaints. My guys were good sports about the whole situation. And that made me happy

That's what they all say. The Houston crew was supposed to come and backed out. I think the number of people that registered and didn't end up showing was close to 20-30.

But we will most def welcome you with open arms and great BBQ if you decide to actually come.
