Mattress Thread
When they say let it air out, they mean it. That foam can be UBER smelly for a few days before airing. I found it very difficult to sleep on it the same night so just keep that in mind for any/all of these out of the box mattresses.
OTOH, if the one side never inflates past the current 9" (of a supposed 12") it will be a mute point, as Amazon will be coming to pick the thing up as a return. The center is 12" but one side is currently at 10" and one side at 9" after 18 hours...
I kind of figured it would be a PITA to try to move, but I really had no other choice. there wasn't room to let in expand in the bedroom, and if I put it in the living room, the kiddo would assume it was a jumpy floppy thing and trash it... I will figure out to move it the once time I need to.

Also I doubt Amazon will take the return and just might let you keep it and refund you.
This is from the chat I had with Amazon CR rep (nice name, right?):
01:13 PM PST WINNIE-MANDELA: you have nothing to worry about, we take care of the return, all you need to do is contact special handling team on 866-423-5353 or reach us via chat. As far as being told to donate it goes, its on a case by case basis we take several things into consideration such as age of account, account history, return history etc
Shieett.. you plebes must be just using plain ol' oxygen in your households... I have a hydrogen pump attached to my HVAC so the air I"m breathing is super light...

I don't feel so good Mr. Spark..

That explains the lack of brain cells within your posting content within this forum.
I think I've settled on this, just haven't decided if I want a 10 or 12"

looks like an exact replica of the Casper

I really do like the green tea mattress still. My Nectar has been holding up well but i still have the green tea mattress in a guest room and it's still very comfortable for a fraction of the price.
Just chatted with Amazon. They are sending a replacement (will arrive Monday) and asked me to donate or dispose of the current mattress as I see fit.
Interestingly, they didn't even ask for a picture of the mattress with a tape measure showing its size or anything...

It's a king mattress, so no other place to put it. Plus, I feel like some shelter/charity needs it much more than I do. Once the new one arrives and is unfurled, I will call a charity to come pick it up.
The replacement bed arrived early, on Friday (instead of today), so it decompressed for two days and we tossed it on the bedframe last night. One corner still didn't expand fully (only about 9") but I said fugg it and we slept on it. It was very comfortable and the wifey liked it too.
Moving the old one out and the new one in (alone) was a total pain in the ass...

"Amazed how small the package was and how quickly it expanded. I was a bit worried about some of the reviews regarding mold and not rising but mine seemed ok....Fast forward two days, the mattress fully inflated and my first thought was wow, this is comfortable so off to sleep we went. Around 3 AM my wife jumped out of bed screaming, thrashing wildly. In my daze, I asked her what was wrong, only to see a small bug crawl across my chest. I too then jumped out of bed to find my wife picking spiders, yes spiders, off her arms and legs; never again will I use a bed out of a box."
What made it hard to move was it's inherent lack of structure, therefore nothing to grab onto. The old Simmons was heavier but easier to move since I could grab the pillowtop and the sides easily.
The latex one we had before was a solid 300 lbs of nothing solid. Like fucking jello in a mattress cover.
The LUCID gel foam is way more stiff and probably a third the weight, so it’s not too bad to move. Layla’s twin can be flipped on its side with one hand, and it will stand on its side.
