I think you mean by a concussion blast. Shellshock is something else entirely. And you're right about most of that. But what does any of it have to do with him being Mexican? Would you say the same if he were Russian? Ecuadorian? Texan? If he were a Texan, and I made a rambling post about the poor quality of his gene pool and called him a lazy texan, as a texan, you would probably take offense.
