What's for Dinner?
Last night was General Tsaos chicken with white rice. Then afterwards I grabbed some chicken drum sticks that were in the fridge, a baked potato, and some spanish rice. WHY CANT I GAIN WEIGHT!!!
Fat = Eat loads of simple carbs and then immediately go to sleep. Repeat frequently during the day.
Muscle = Eat a high calorie, protein rich diet (3000-4000 calories) and exercise with high weights and low reps. Be consistent.
Both at the moment. Im 6' and currently weigh 134lbs. Ive got Crohns disease which has always contributed to my weight problems. The highest I ever was was 168lbs, and that was 6 years ago. Ive hovered around 150 up until October of last year when I had a pretty bad flare up that Im still trying to recover from.
Possible changes you can make to your diet include:
-Eat small amounts of food throughout the day.
-Drink lots of water (drink small amounts often throughout the day).
-Avoid high-fiber foods (bran, beans, nuts, seeds, and popcorn).
-Avoid fatty, greasy or fried foods and sauces (butter, margarine, and heavy cream).
-If your body does not digest dairy foods well, limit dairy products. Try low-lactose cheeses, such as Swiss and cheddar, and an enzyme product, such as Lactaid, to help break down lactose.
-Avoid foods that you know cause you gas, such as beans, spicy food, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, raw fruit juices and fruits -- especially citrus fruits.
