Three Wheelin'
That's like the perfect marriage. If you're driving less than 15MPH you also get walking points too. I am only level 15, so I have a bit to go.

New Zealand man quits job to spend two months collecting creatures on Pokémon Go | Daily Mail Online
Barista, 24, quits his job to spend two months travelling around New Zealand collecting Pokemon
- Tom Currie, 24, has spent 22 days since quitting his job catching Pokémon
- The 24-year-old already has a collection of 700 Pokémon since he started
- Mr Currie booked buses to travel from the tip to the bottom of New Zealand
- He has already done 50km of travel since starting to play Pokémon Go
A man has quit his job to spend two months travelling across New Zealand to catch Pokémon using a popular mobile phone app
Tom Currie, 24, from Auckland, New Zealand, quit his job at the Hibiscus Coast café to travel the length of New Zealand from the northernmost point to the southernmost point.
Mr Currie has already travelled 50 kilometres so far and collected over 700 creatures since the launch of the Pokémon Go app on July 6.
The 24-year-old told Newshub that he has already booked busses from Invercargill in New Zealand's South Island all the way up to Cape Reinga in New Zealand's North Island.
After arriving at his destinations Mr Currie walks around catching the virtual creatures - which are often hard to capture while in a moving vehicle.
Mr Currie also keeps track of how far he has walked by using the app which calculates the distance a gamer has travelled.
He said: 'I'm level 20 at the moment, which was the highest I'd seen until I came to Christchurch, there's some better players here.
'I want Mewtwo, it's Pokémon number 150 [out of the 150 original Pokémon] and that is the end game for most people here.'
In a bid to make the change from barista to Pokémon trainer official, Mr Currie recently changed his occupation on Facebook to Pokémon trainer at Pokémon Research Centre Christchurch.

Im trying to like this game but I just find it to be another lame smartphone app like candy crush, flappy bird, temple run, etc etc.
I mean I like video games. But when I say that I mean I like REAL video games. Apps like this are just a waste of time IMO.
But not hating on it at all. I support anything Pokemon. lol Extremely nostalgic. Makes me happily remember when I was younger and had a babysitter that watched some 10 kids all at once. We'd all be playing Pokemon on our gameboys trading and battling. I remember once trading someone's Squirtle for a Polywhirl because my polywhirl had surf and they really wanted that dumb move. I was an asshole little kid! hahaha I took his squirtle and lol'd when he bragged about having a Pokemon with surf before being the proper level to even use the HM.
God I cant believe I remember that and the term HM verse TM. God damn.

In its form right now, it's too basic and I feel people are going to stop playing soon.
I feel it could benefit from a revamped battle system. Also PVP would be nice.
Basically like an MMORPG.
catching Pokemon can only keep people's interest for so long

What's the highest level pokemon you've seen at a gym? There's one like half a mile from me but it's too far away so I've never done the gym thing. The highest one there is a Exeggutor with 2022 CP. Dunno if that is good or not..

I kept seeing little dorklings walking around the neighborhood and bolting across the street with their phones in their face. More than usual. I figured there was a poking station nearby or something.
So my curiosity got the better of me and I downloaded the app. So far I found it's been an extremely boring but efficient way to drain my battery while continuously reading that it can't connect to a server.
And there are in fact three poking stations nearby. I have "caught" some odd little creatures that I have no idea what do do with. Do I put them in a virtual jar and shake?
Can I sell them to the dorklings I run into with my truck?
Is there any way to capture more critters without needing to leave my living room?

lol .. when the app actually works... I just sit on my couch or in bed and they pop up out of nowhere sometimes. So yea.. it's easy. Granted, I think they are the ones that are everywhere and the weakest pokemon or whatever..

Ugh. and now I have something called eggs and it says I need to walk to make them incubate.
Can I just shake my phone around like a fitbit and make it think I'm walking?

The game needs to register slight movement with your phone GPS. If you walked around your room it would work.... or tape it to a spinning ceiling fan or to a pet's collar.

I went out for a quick skate around the neighborhood.
The stupid egg hatched and it was a stupid Pidgey that I already had six of. Stupid bird critter.
But...
Pinecone: 1
Old man on skateboard: 0
Somehow, coming to an abrupt stop from 10 mph, I managed to tuck and roll, doing a full forward flip, kept my melon of the ground (note to self, wear the damn helmet next time), ate shit on my left hand and right arm/shoulder/leg, kept going in the roll right back up into a jog and went back to retrieve my now stationary board. And managed to keep the phone in my right hand from ever touching the ground.
I took a hot shower and dug all the asphalt out of my hand. I'm sure tomorrow will be a wonder of aches in places I haven't stretched in years around my shoulders and neck.
I'm not sure I want to do this anymore.
They should put a warning that you need to pay attention to your surroundings when playing.

I feel like this game should be a dream come true for me. But I am going to wait till it is imroved to download. On the other hand I have never seen so many people out and about at 2-3 a.m. Literally hoards and hoards of people in parks and other random areas. It is somewhat creepy lol.

only issue I have is occasionally the app freezes when I catch a Pokemon.

That's not so much an app issue than a server issue on their end.
