what about TCS /ASM and all that jazz...... we need to be clear about all the criterias involved.
Ok, let the round 1 begins.
Car: SL65 completely stock(S2 tires), oil change is not allowed. Feel free to use the driving aids(ASM/TCS)
Track: Hong Kong(normal)
The winner has the rights to set-up the next round.
Round 1 ends on next Saturday 12:00(noon) eastern time.
I will post my first run in the next few hours.

The black cars are cool but don't expect Jesus cars.
I'm trying to do the N-Ring 24 hour and I tried with the BMW M3 GTR Race Car and I have to pit every 2-3 laps. I have the 1/2 tire combo and I upgraded to stage 4. Did you guys who did the 24 hour with the Minolta or whatever upgrade your turbo or leave it stock so not to eat the tires. Maybe my car is too fast.

I myself have been taking a (sorely needed) break from GT4. Also about to move, and other things going on so haven't had much time for GT4.Number of days I played the black cars after getting them: 1. Hell, I don't even think I tried the R390. LOL. They are just nice to have. Call 'em collector's editions.
Definitely not "Jesus cars", lol... Of course, right after getting the black cars, I was on a mission to get under 6 mins in the Supra RZ @ the Ring so that kinda interfered with anything else I wanted to do. If you race one car for a long time you really get used to it and how it behaves, you don't want to keep switching cars because it will fuxx0r with your focus because you will have to "re-learn" the other car(s)... something like that.I wanna do some more Photo Mode stuff soon.

and I bought an xbox since then.

If reviews for Forza is less than stellar, then I'm selling my xbox on e-bay and buying another PS2.

You realize, I just left the PS2 on for 24 hours basically, I mean, I didn't watch the race and how many pitstops the car was making.
So take my "advice" accordingly...

had game roughly 1 month, a little over 15% complete, half way though AI licence tests, love all the new tracks, don't get to play as much as i would like but its still fun, that nurumburg (spell) track is a bitch to memorize but im working on it.
my top 5 cars (nothing spectacular)
1. skyline gtr v-spec 800hp +
2. bwm m-5 700hp +
3. nsx type-r fully modded (forget specs)
4. s-2000 350hp +
5. civic type-r 330hp +
quick question ive won cars that give me no price when i go to sell them, is there anyway to get money for them?

My update - 0% done still, 110 days through the game.
I have the B, A, iB, and half the iA licenses.
Something like 14 golds, 38 silvers, 4 bronzes.
I have all silvers for B, A, and iB so I got those cars.
EDIT: I wasted a lot of days getting golds on the B licenses - and I only have 13 of 16!

Also, do I need to do oil changes for the cars I win in the license tests?
Can't remember if I modded my GXP but I doubt it. I think I only used it for the Sunday Cup to make some money to buy my first used car which was a 99 Skyline GTR (R34). I didn't change the oil for those cars because I think they have 0 miles.
Oh and I finally won the Formula Car using the Minolta with stock turbo. I think I would only recommend going Stage 4 boost on low # of lap races. The power was killing my tires. So now I'm halfway in the Pro Tourney (been busy) only getting competition from the C9 Sauber which seems to be faster than the Formula off the line.
But nothing beats the smoothness and handling of the Forumla at 15000RPM.

Hey Doom,
No offense but the GXP sucks! I started the Beginner races last night, and when I got to the FF Cup I had to use the GXP. I had no chance at all, the 1st place car was an average 6 seconds ahead after every race! I guess I could mod it, but I'd rather just win/buy a better car instead.
I did win the Sunday Cup and the FR Cup with the Nismo 270R that I won from the iA licenses.
