Yeah, I was stupid and bought an N64 while my smarter buddies grabbed the PS1 and then discovered the wonders of getting "educational" versions of games to work...I could only afford 9 N64 games while everyone else had 100+ PS1 games...?

The games aren't comparable, but the fan base and devotion to the game is.
The GTA:SA thread is all but defunct, but this one lives on. In all fairness, GTA:SA is out in the US, and completed by most. And I'd guess most people who longed for the game no longer play it regularly at this stage.
I wonder what will happen to this thread a few months after the release?
It won't be as lively as it is now, but will it have more life than the GTA:SA thread?

also... back when GT4 was in development, most of the articles pointed to it "not looking much better than GT3, if not the same", because of the hardware limitations. The fact that there is an eyewitness account of it looking even slightly better than GT3, is something we should be happy about.

I don't have GT Force Pro, I am just happy with my old GT Force now.
...Just bought a 04 Acura NSX in the game(Acura and Infiniti are "American cars" in the game! So I bought the Acura instead of Honda for the American car-only races), the handling is awesome! The NSX sure doesn't feel too old at least in this game. (One of the reason is lack of Ferrari and Lambo.)
I gotta save some credits for the NSX-R soon.

remember these are japan dates
there is no 02 TSX but its the closest thing too it as it seems there is no Acura TSX in the game
