me too... the RX7 LM is lovely. with the full upgrades, it is and sooooo fun to drive... esp drifting...

what trac / stability controls do you guys use? I find that setting them on makes the game less fun. you run better lap times, but it isn't as fun. I set stability to 0 and trac to about 2-3 (out of 10) - depending on how much HP the car has. sometimes when we wanna have some real fun we set trac to 0 and take out some high-hp RWD car..

 

Totally agree with you...
If you want to ham it up, set the stability controls to nil. But, for races with twisties and etc., yes traction control needs to be on...

You know, I can't get myself to play NFSU2 for some reason. Maybe it's because of my extreme hatred for Fast & Furious?

 

i just play it for the drifting and hooking up the SUV. drifting physic on the game is tight.

 

How does it compare to GT3 (the drifting)?

 

I did all my races with 0 STAB and 0 TRAC............

 

Well, for the F1 carts, you couldn't drift them if your life counted on it because of their monster tires. But, you drove without traction for even your rally races? Wow.

i never drift on gt3. and i havent plug my ps2 or xbox up since i got NFSU2 for the PC. oh my i got my Navigator on hydrolic with the back hoping while doing donuts and NOSing at the same time....its nutz!

Well, I suppose I should let y'all know my dark secret in GT3. My record in all the races is flawless. BUT, that being said, a good portion as to why I have Golds for every race series is because once I earned an F1 cart, I used it for nearly every race that I could...So, yes, I'm a bit of a cheater myself.

But hey, even on the races where F1 carts were not allowed, I still got 1st, so to you haters!

Now, I'm not quite done the game as I am now practicing to get that freakin' Vitz series down (Thanks to TSX 'R' US for the tuning sets)...

I have NFSU2 and played it for a couple hours the day I got it..... which was the week it came out.... I downloaded a cheat save that had everything unlocked because I didn't wanna have to play the whole damn thing to get everything (something I did with NFSU1) - I haven't touched the game since.

don't get me wrong, I really love all the variations of the colored NAWS, "hydrolics", SUV's, bunk ass bodykits, and general bunk ass theme of the game, I just haven't had TIME to play it.... yeah... that's the ticket...

 

I did that for one race... so that way I wouldn't have to buy/win a rally car... It got sooooo boring
